It's the time of the night where the Annual Pledge Wheel is presented once again. I've gathered around everyone at the party. The wheel is out and ready to go.
"May I please call, President of the Annual Pledge Wheel to come up please. I present to you, Mr Noah Ryder!" I call out into the microphone.
Noah walks up to the mike and I hand it to him excitedly.
"Thank you Vice President. We have gathered you all around here today, to announce that it is that time of the year where we bring out the Annual Pledge Wheel. We are very excited to find out this year's pledge. But before we spin the wheel, we'd like to announce this year's nominees! Our nominees for 2014 are:
Masyn Tyler!
Abby Jones!
James Reynolds!
Kimberly Dwyers!
Cody Walker!
Josh Ashford!
Xander King!
And last but not least, me.
May I ask my best friend, whom happens to be VP of this yearly excitement, Mr James Reynolds to do the honours of spinning the wheel this year." Noah calls. I happily obliged and said
"I'd be honoured Mr President."
I walk up to the wheel, took a deep breath and spun it. It takes a minute or so to finally stop spinning.
"This year's pledge is...." Noah says.
My jaw literally dropped when I saw the Pledge for this year.
"The DareDevil Pledge!" I yell shocked.
Noah looks at me wide eyed and mouthed "Seriously?" I nodded. The reason why we're shocked is because never, in these 5 years we've been doing the Pledge Wheel, has it landed on The DareDevil Pledge. This Pledge is the most dangerous, according to the rules.
"Right, so the rules are:
1. No backing out. Whatsoever.
2. You are not allowed to nominate someone else in exchange of you.
3. You must pick a dare for one of the other nominees.
4. You must complete the dare until the end of semester, which is another 10 weeks.
5. Nominees must not tell other nominee if they chose them or not.
6. Have fun.
This year's nominees, please write down your dare for one of these other nominees. Return them to the box just next to me and be sure to fold up the piece of paper." Noah explains.
