Chloe looked around the kitchen and felt her muscles tense as she clenched her jaw. She had been at work all day answering questions from the idiots who called the customer service line. Interpreting medical benefits isn't like brain surgery, but it took her five minutes to explain that the removal of skin tags are cosmetic and therefore not covered. Chloe had no idea what a skin tag was, but decide that she didn't want to get any when she was old. She didn't want to be cranky either. Although looking at her messy kitchen she was just that.
"Adam!" she called.
She sighed as her boyfriend sauntered in wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Why did a grown man think live streaming while he played video games was a career. Granted he made more in ad revenue than her crappy salary, but he was still a big kid sometimes.
Irritated she said, "This is a dishwasher, your dirty dishes go in here not on the counter waiting for me or a magic fairy to take care of them."
"I was streaming all day!" he complained.
"I suppose I have to cook dinner now..."
He looked at her confused. Of course she did because he couldn't boil water. Frustrated she opened the cupboard and slammed the door when she couldn't find what she was looking for.
"Where's my dark chocolate?"
"You told me to hide it and only bring it out in an emergency."
"This is an emergency!"
"I bet I can calm you down," he said as he took a step closer.
"You're the one that aggravated me and unless you are going to clean the kitchen and cook dinner while I take a bubble bath, you aren't calming me."
"I can join you in the bath!"
Did he really think that he could seduce her when she was in desperate need of chocolate?
"Come on, I'll scrub your back..."
She looked at the dirty kitchen and the clock that was advancing past the dinner hour as her stomach growled. She grabbed hold of his crotch and exploded, "Look just give me the chocolate and nobody gets hurt."
