“I went to Mang Efren while the girls are taking a nap. Tapos nakita ko si Allona na dala-dala yung mga tools nya kanina. As expected her artistic side triggers when she sees those woods that we used as props yesterday. Kaya nakinood ako, which I usually do before” Daniel lengthy explained to Victor while Laura mischievously smiles.
“I see, ganon naman pala” Victor uttered. “By the way going back to what we were talking earlier. Yun na nga I invited Sabrina to spend her weekend here” he said while he give a meaningful wink at Laura which the latter immediate understands.
“Sino ang kasama nya papunta dito? Do we have to arrange her ride Love? Baka maligaw sya papunta dito” Laura asked
“Let me check on her. Sunduin mo na lang kaya sa Manila Daniel.” Victor suggested
“Bakit si Daniel?” Allona abruptly uttered. Then she just realized what she said when she sees all eyes are on her. “I mean, ang hassle naman ng magtravel back pa si Daniel sa Manila eh pwede namang ipahatid sa driver si Sabrina di ba” she explained and crossing her fingers that they buy her alibi.
“Atsaka nandito na ako Kuya, wag mo na akong pabalikin sa Manila. Allona is right we can ask someone to drive for Sabrina and not necessarily me” Daniel seconded
“That’s odd, previously you used to volunteer when it concerns Sabrina, bakit nag-iba ang ihip ng hangin?” Victor asked
“I was the one who invited her therefore it is just right that I take care of her ride” Daniel immediately replied
“Relax Daniel, we are only talking about Sabrina’s ride this weekend. Why are you beginning to be pissed-off” Laura asked
“I am not pissed-off but I don’t like the idea that she’ll spend the weekend with us. She is not a member of this family. I can’t understand why you invited her over Kuya” Daniel straightly uttered.
“I am not a Monteiro so does it meant that I should not be here too?” Allona asked
“You are different from Sabrina” Daniel immediately uttered.
“How different? Pareho lang naman kaming family friend ng mga Monteiro” Allona replied
“Do you really want me to answer that?” Daniel meaningfully asked Allona and she understands what he means and that statement increases unclear thoughts in Laura and Victor’s minds.
“What I am saying is, I don’t see anything wrong if Sabrina will spend her weekend with us” Allona said
“Seriously Allona?” Daniel firmly asked
“Seriously Daniel” Allona answered back looking straight to Daniel’s eyes
“It’s still a NO for me, kung gusto nyong nandito si Sabrina at intindihin natin sa weekend then count me out” Daniel said.
“Bakit ba ayaw mong pumunta si Sabrina dito? You said that she is your friend right?” Allona asked.
“This is a family vacation, why are we inviting friends na alagain pa natin?” Daniel asked. “We don’t usually have this chance to bond with each other, malamang kung nandito lang sa Pilipinas ang Mama she will be glad to be here too. This time is for the family and I am not sharing it to some of our so called friends” he firmly uttered
“Ok Dan, I get your point, I’ll just take back my invitation” Victor said
“Thank you Kuya” Daniel replied
