After A Night

Pree stirred sleepily. When his blurry vision focused, he noticed his unfamiliar surrounding.

His head still felt heavy. His body ached but in a good way, like after a good exercise.

His memory started coming back to him. Touch down in Bangkok after a long flight, he wanted to relax so he headed to his favorite drinking joint. A few attractive people tried chatting him up but Pree wasn't interested.

Pree was content with drinking, watching the dance floor filled with people dancing to their heart's content.

The lights were flashing in that dark surrounding, everyone lost in either the music or their drinks.

And then, as if time the froze, the music paused and the spot light shined on a silhouette, someone familiar.

Rambo?

Time resumed, and the loud music blared again. Pree knew what he saw. He downed his shot and dived among the crowd.

As he passed through people, Rambo's face appeared in Pree's mind.

How long was it since they last met? Rambo left the company to join another airline. Serpent followed not long after. Since then Pree has not heard from Rambo. Rambo's old number was disconnected and all social media accounts were deleted as well. Even his sister doesn't have any idea how to contact him.

Reaching the figure, Pree's heart pounded. That old feeling. The passion, desire and lust.

Pree started swaying his body to the rhythm. Gradually, he started grinding his body against the smaller frame. He felt Rambo.

Gradually, he swayed his hips alongside this person, hands on his flat waist. Lean, like Rambo.

It was dark.

When the person finally turned, indeed he looked like Rambo. Before he could say anything, the person popped something into his mouth and put his arms around Pree's shoulder, bringing their hips closer, closing their distance.

He kissed Pree. Pree felt something like a pill slipping into his mouth. Probably something to get high on but he didn't care. Rambo is here. It must be. If he wasn't Rambo, he would have pushed him away.

And then his surrounding started spinning. All he could remember was soft lips all over him and him all over soft skin.

"Bo...," Pree called out softly. He perched up halfway and gently tug the thick duvet away. His Bo, just right beside him. Pree smiled.

"Bo...?" Pree tugged softly brushing the hair covering his face. Just then he moved, revealing his face.

Pree sprang up.

The person he spent the night with was not Rambo. He was just someone who looked a lot like, Rambo.

Pree looked around the bed and sighed in relieve. At least there were proof that protection were used. Pree suddenly felt guilty.

He scrambled out of bed and then grabbed his clothes and hurriedly put them on. Before he left, he didn't know if he should leave some money or not but in the end decided to leave some.

Buckling his belt as he was walking, he pressed the button to the escalator and went down the lobby.

Coffee.

Pree needed his caffein, bad. He headed straight to the nearest coffee store to order a strong cup of espresso.

What was he thinking? Pree asked himself. Rambo, was the answer. Only, he got the wrong Rambo.

After getting his drink, he looked around and at the corner, sat someone eerily familiar looking.

Rambo?

Happily typing away on his laptop, giggling and smiling.

"Bo...," Pree called out and was about to move when he felt his arm being grabbed.
Pree turned to see him, in bathrobes, holding up the money notes with hand.

"Hey, I'm not a hooker. You can have this back. Enjoyed the night though," he said, pushing the money back to Pree's hand. Pree doesn't know what to say.

He looked back to the corner, no one's there anymore. There was a drunken cup on the table. Rambo's left.

"What were you saying?" Pree asked, snapping out his thoughts.

"I said, you were great in bed and I like doing it with you. So how about we exchange contact? So you know, we can get on it when you feel like it?" He asked. Pree swallowed. The man in front of him is definitely younger than him and he looked cuter under the light. Nothing of Rambo's features, just similar.

"Sure, why not?" Pree said and took out his phone. Then younger man smiled and took out his phone too to exchange contact.

From afar, Rambo smiled sadly watching from the window. After a while, he walked away.

Writer's Note: I am hoping for a Season 2 to come out. I do like the story but I also wish for a better story telling this time. Until Season 2 is out, these are all the stories for What The Duck The Series. I noticed almost all of them are bittersweet or angst. I like angst. I need more angst.

Thank you so much for reading!
