He was there, answering all the fan questions, while glancing at me some times.

I tried to pay at least a bit attention to the questions and what he is saying but I just couldn't. My mind was boiling with different thoughts, most of them including plans of me escaping this place, and suing myself for coming here. Other than that I caught myself admiring Shawn and his features, his hair, his skin, his lips, his hands, his voice, his smile, his everything. I just couldn't help it, he is gorgeous and.. He is just perfect. Excluding the fact he pretended to be someone else. Though why would he do that? It's just so unlike something he would do..

"Have you set your eyes on some girl?", was the question that caught my attention.

I looked up to see the mischievous smile on Shawn's face and everyone looking expectingly at him, while his gaze was wandering over the room, meeting my surprised eyes for a moment, "Maybe", then he asked for the next question.

The surprise in the room wasn't unexpected, everyone started chatting and whispering and murmuring more questions about the mysterious girl. It'd be a lie if I say I wasn't surprised and my shocked face would show it.

Who was she? I mean, who has caught Shawn Mendes' attention so he is sharing this with us? This is- Wow. I have been expecting the time when i will fangirl over Shawn and his girlfriend and was wondering if she would be a singer, actress or model, what would be her attitude and how she is going to act with the tons of fans Shawn has chasing after him.

I had a lot of questions about the girl but won't risk raising my hand and he picking me up, because after everything and the girl, I probably will stutter everything. And the thought he was texting with me while having another girl, keeps burning me inside my chest. I don't know why but the feeling of betrayal was killing me, even though we were just friends, far away friends who were texting each other.

However, the fate wasn't on my team because when I looked up again, Shawn was pointing at me saying something which I barely heard but it looked like he was saying "the girl next to the plant" and it couldn't be any other girl because he was looking straight at me.

Oh God..

"Me?", I asked shyly, wanting to drown into the floor.

He nodded.

"I-I um..", I really hated the attention everyone was giving me, "I didn't even raise my hand", I said the first thing that crossed my mind, which caused him to chuckle and the room to erupt in a big gasp. Nice. And the real concert hasn't even started yet.

"Well, you looked like you really wanted to escape or hide behind that plant and that has never happened before, so I decided ask what's wrong.", he said casually.

"I, uhm.. I..", a word couldn't escape my mouth and I am staring to panic over again. Think, Kayla! Just say something!, "I am, um, a bit nervous, sorry", I laughed nervously, "I just meet you for the first time", lie, "and I.. I'm.. I actually think I can faint right now haha", I laughed nervously once again, trying to draw the attention away from me but I don't think these were the right words. I could even see the slight smirk on Shawn's face. Right. The fainting girl.

"We feel you, girl", some girl from the first rows said and everyone laughed.

"Yeah haha", I added murmuring, even though they were not even close to really feeling me.

"So, what's your question?", Shawn asked once again.

Seeing his still smug face, something in me started boiling and without much thinking the words came out of my mouth "Who is the girl you're talking about? How did you two met? I know everyone here wants to know too.", okay. I admit this was rude and i probably don't have the right to ask him such personal thing but after all, he started all this and i deserve at least to know who he is been with while we were kind of "friends". So judging me and gasping, the others are probably thanking me mentally.
