She turned around for the nth time, she couldn't count the times she shuffled on her bed anymore. She sighed as she laid on her back, she watched the wall clock. It was as if she could hear the clock's second hand's every move. Tik. Tok. It was almost midnight.

She smirked. It was a special day for her. She has finally graduated high school even with being a year late due to their busy schedules. It wasn't easy juggling school and being in an idol group, not just an ordinary idol group at that, as there would always be huge expectations from them. They were from a top company after all.

She stared at the clock. It was approximately 15 minutes before midnight. She sighed again. She was alone in the room as Chaeyoung, who graduated with her, was with her family and Dahyun had other plans too.

Don't get her wrong, she was very happy for today's event. She smiled remembering how the older members woke her and Chaeyoung up and greeted them. Jeongyeon and Jihyo even made a special breakfast for them. All the other members greeted them too, don't forget about Sana and Nayeon bombarding them with kisses. She was beyond touched for having her unnies with her.

She shuffled to her side, now leaning on her right. She could see the night sky through the window from her position. She shook her head. Maybe, she shouldn't have just expected anything.

But he made a promise. She pouted at that thought. He promised he would see her on this day even when he couldn't see her on stage. It would also be a lie if she would say she wasn't expecting him and even just a greeting from him for today.

She stood up and went on to her desk. There she saw her graduation certificate which made her smile but turned into a pout in a second.

She remembered that she almost shed a tear when he said he couldn't see her go on stage to accept her certificate when he had promised a month ago that he would watch her go on that stage and be the proudest boyfriend.

Work is work. She reminded herself. He is big now. His group is huge now. She couldn't help but miss those times when her group was still a rookie group and his group wasn't this famous yet. They were still able to go out and spend time with each other then.

Dorm dates. Now, they could only hang out inside the dorms. She never complained though because as long as she was with him, she was happy.

She shook her head and took a deep breath. She shouldn't be thinking like this. She smiled. She should be the bigger person and not sulk. His group just achieved an amazing feat. They were the first Korean act to present an award in the Grammy's. She should be a proud girlfriend.

She beamed remembering seeing a clip of him tearing up while watching a special tribute for a legendary singer at the major event his group attended. May she also mention how handsome and dashing he looked that night. She actually hoped she would be there to see him and tell him how good looking he was. She bit her bottom lip as she thought of that.

She couldn't wait to see him anymore. Maybe tomorrow then? She thought. Hopefully! She stood up as she decided to grab something to drink as she thought it would take a longer time before she could drift to sleep.

She observed the dorm to be unusually quiet as she step foot in their living room. She just shrugged her shoulders. Maybe some of her members were out and some were already sleeping.

She turned the lights in the kitchen on and grabbed herself a glass of warm water. She gulped almost half of the glass before placing it on the table.

"Ya!" she squealed as she flinched out of surprise. Good thing she was able to put her glass on the table beforehand or else it would've dropped and broken into pieces now.

She knew very well who these pair of strong arms around her waist belonged to. She could smell his signature perfume which automatically made her heart pound.

She turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck. "You came," she expressed.

"Mianhae, I'm late," he apologized. She looked at the wall clock in their kitchen. There were still 5 minutes before midnight. This meant he was still able to keep his promise.

"We just arrived earlier," he continued her. She figured that out, looking at how big eye bags were but still he made the effort to see her.

She looked at him eye to eye before shaking her head. "You came just on time," she told him. This made him beam, revealing his bunny teeth.

"Congratulations!" he greeted her. She nodded at him. "Gomawo," she thanked. She felt his hold on her became tighter. She always loved being in his arms.

"Congratulations too!" she greeted back.

"For what?" he asked.

"You were just invited to the Grammy's. Hello? That's big!" she explained.

"You didn't greet when you discovered though," he said, shrugging his shoulders.

"I sulked there for a bit but I'm fine now," she confessed.

"Kyeowo," he said, pinching the side of her cheek. She pouted at what he just did. Seeing her like this, he couldn't help but give a peck on her lips.

"I thought you wouldn't keep your promise," she pouted again.

"Mian," he said, scratching his nape.

"But you did!" she grinned at him, revealing the dimple on her left cheek.

"I did my best to keep that promise and thankfully didn't fail," he said grinning. She nodded at him.

"Gomawo," she thanked.

"I'm proud of you," he told her. This touched her heart.

"I'm proud of you too," she replied. He gave her another peck on the lips.

"Hey, the unnies!" she warned him, worried that older girls might see them all lovey dovey.

"They went out with the hyungs to get some chicken and beer for our celebration," he stated.

"Jinjja?" she asked, asking for confirmation. He nodded at her. They stayed like that, in each other's embrace, looking at each other dearly eye to eye, for a couple of minutes.

"Saranghae," her heart skipped a beat as he suddenly blurted that out.

"Nado," she replied. He closed their gap and leaned in for a kiss. She returned it with the same fervor. Her celebration was already complete with his presence.

A short one shot of a random moment I thought of. Hope it made you smile!

Congratulations to Chaeyoung and Tzuyu for their graduation. Congratulations to our fave guys, BTS for making history again, the first Korean group to ever present an award in the Grammy's. Everything is just so overwhelming!
