"Why is it so cold" he said voice quieted by the raging winds.
He was walking down the block to his school, it wasn't far from his home so it was his daily routine, while his sister got a ride from 'her' parents. It was normal in their household amber would get all the special treatment, while he would be in the back round phones in as he stayed quiet,it never bothered him in the slightest he like when it was quiet and with all the people at home so distant, it always was quiet.
It wasn't always like that, it was a while after amber was born that they just started to avoid him like the plague, and over time he just got use to it they didn't bother him he didn't bother them and when their grad parents came over the were the ones to shower his with gifts like his new collection of books, his mp3 player ,and his sound proofing headphones so even when their was noise he couldn't hear. It was a nice thing to have when he is on the roof of the school, he didn't have to hear the noise down below.
"speaking of noise" he thought turning into the school. He could hear every thing they we saying, he had good ears but it may be because they were just too loud. It was amazing how people talk when they think the person they're talking about can't or that anyone can't hear them when they are not even two feet away.
"Did you hear about the snake"she said. Cassie mayfeild star cheerleader was pregnant twice by the same guy was 'ironically' was the star quarterback of their foot ball team.
"Yeah, they were having track practice and they said it just showed up out of nowhere" may carter second hand to Cassie in the cheer squad, currently dating Cassie's brother but she don't know that.
It is amazing what you could learn when nobody knows your there and for saichi people never know he's there, it wasn't like he was trying to pry in peoples conversations he just went where he was needed, they just never notice him, it was like he was a living ghost.
As he walked down the hallway he could here more people converse about the snake from its thick long black scales to how venomous it could be.
He turned into his class his teacher being the only other teacher person here.
He went straight to the opposite end of the class from the door,where the large windows gave full display of the forest on the left side if the road across from the parking lot.
As he sat down at the desk he shivered "It's only November why does it have to be so cold,wait for December to be cold then i wouldn't have to be here" he thought. He wasn't much of being outside the comfort of my bed when it's cold kinda person.
The bell sounded and the students started poring in for home room. The conversation about the snake or any other types of drama the student body could have.
The teacher stood up from his desk shuffling a stack of papers.
"Alright class, The schools fair is coming up and the grades 11 and 12 will be working for community service hours.When i call your names come up to he front for your assigned station and partners. If you don't show you won't get your hours."
"In a mean time sta-" he was interrupted by a knock at the door drawing his attention away from his students.
"Good morning Mr Walker" said moesha, she was the girl from the class next door.
"To what do we ow the pleasure ms Henfeild" said Mr Walker resting the paper on the desk.
" The principal asked all teachers to report the office for an emergency staff meeting" she said
He sighed "Alright , finish read chapter 5 of your text books and when your done res your heads on the desk." he said leaving.
When the door closed the class erupted in noise, completely ignoring what their teacher had just said.
Saichi rest his head on the head and arms on the desk having already read the chapter the night prier. He was a star student even though his mind wonders on occasion, he would always get his work done, follow most rules and would never cause trouble.
His head shot up at the sound of the desk being dragged across the floor in a high pitched screech.
"Malisa what the hell, lift the chair" yelled Jason. Jason sanders He's the track star of the school no bad drama or people around.
"Oh shut up you baby it's not that loud" Malisa sanders Twin sister of Jason debate club president and public relations.
Jason's desk was right next to saichi's so it was not hard to hear their conversation. If they didn't anyone to hear they should have been quieter. his was the only time he was next to jason and his friends not it was not problem for him.
"I think it's the snake" said malisa " The reason they called all the teachers in this meeting it has to be about the snake."
"Yeah i agree probably an infestation or something, they would usually have meetings in the morning right. Either something big happened in the last 24 hours or it's the snake." said jason. " The thing that doesn't make sense is those types of snakes don't come here it's to cold for them, they are usually found in Africa.
The look on malisa's face said it all. she was surprised. " You know all this about one random snake but can't remember anything from class." said malisa
"To my defense i looked it up last night and i hate class so." jason said "Plus i saw it the thing was huge, snakes like that are not that big, it should have been smaller."
"Oh yeah you was there when it happened." said brandon. Brandon costilla also on the track team best friends to malisa and jason.
"where was it" said malisa
" The field were we is have practice, the one connected to the forest" said jason as he scrunched up his noise "they really should just let us practice at they Y it's so much safer and it smalls better too."
"I bet you, they gin say ya'll practice gin be there now instead of just cancelling it" stated malisa
The bell sounded again for the start of second period.
"All the teachers are still in the meeting i don't think we gatta move" said brandon The others agreeing.
" I hope this last until after chemistry i don't need a headache today" said jason
"It wouldn't be a headache if you'd pay attention in the class" said malisa
" I pay attention...sometimes" said jason
"mhm point proven"
"What's hat sound said brandon moving forwordfrom his seat. Jason and malisa following.
"It sounds like an engine,and a loud one at that" said jason rubbing his ears
"LOOK" someone shouted
The class erupted as they fought to look at the moter bike speeding through the gate,a stretch black limo following behind it.
As both vehicles pulled up to the courtyard the principal stepped out to greet the unknown guest.
"Mr Kodachae was it, welcome to our school. I hope all of the people that are enrolling here in a few days will enjoy it here" said Mr Johnson the principal of the school.
Mr. Johnson stepped back as Mr kodachae's large frame stepped out of the limo his 6'0 foot stature intimidating Mr. Johnson's 5'5.
"And i hope the don't complain about this private school of yours" he said his face monotone.
"My daughter will be attending this school and my son will be supervising until his classes at the university start. He stated
"Corin, go brows around your sisters class, Room 32 correct" he said turning back to Mr. Johnson
"Oh yes, the second floor" said Mr Johnson a sweat dropped down his forehead.
Corin reached to take off his helmet reveling his black hair and silver-gray eyes.
"Call me when we're leaving" said corin as he walked inside
"Oh and corin" said his farther causing him to turn around.
"Play nice"
Corin smirked to himself as he entered the building.
