The hallway was silent, the usual noise that always plagues the building was no more, it was like the people knew that something was going on. The only sound that can be heard was the echoing footsteps of a tall young man with raven hair, striking silver eyes that flashed a brightening glint.

He lifted his nose up at the wind flowing through the hallway catching a peculiar scent attached.

"That smell"  he thought "That wonderful scent, there here. Things might be more fun than I thought." a smirk creeping on his face. "playing nice is out the window now."

His attention was drawn from his thoughts, a flicker of something caught in the sun. As he approached the object his face dropped. He crouched down to pick up a two toned scale it shifting between a dark purple to a light blue. "I thought we told her to stay inside, guess i better go get her."

-----------------------------------------------------------

The air of curiosity  hung heavy in the class. Who was that guy? why is he here? and what did he have to do with the school? Was he the reason all the teachers left? Everyone was whispering about what was going on. The last time someone arrived at the school it was for the whole drug fiasco (which by the was still wasn't solved ). To say the least, it got there attention and they wanted to know what was going on. Some more that many.

"Snakes" said jason "I've never actually been this close to one let alone seen a snake shifter .I thought they were supposed to be a secluded type of species "

Jason, Malisa, and Brandon along with a good percentage of the school  were part of the Moons Grace,a large werewolf pack in the area. The pack lived in peace here with the humans. They don't know about them and they never will, as long as there is order. At least that's what the elders think. when the next generation of elders come into play the rules are going to change for the better.

Being a werewolf  meant that the pack that they could have a special link between each other without the trouble of being heard b those who didn't understand there ways. The link can work with the entire pack or someone who they had a strong connection with. Being friends since they were born jason, malisa, and brandon had that link.

"No one is answering, it's like they can't hear us. I have a bad feeling about this something is wrong" said brandon " How come we didn't sense them when they came in our boarders, we should have known as soon as they came through"

His palms were starting to sweat and his chest tightening as the smell drew closer to their floor. the tension in the classroom grew thicker.

"His smell is so strong." malisa said "He is releasing his pheromones like it's nothing and his aura is just as strong, that would definitely set off our boarder patrol so how the hell no one notices."

"And so i was like who is you talking to wh- AAAHHHHH GET IT OFF MEE"

The attention was drawn from there conversation to may as she screamed at the large snake that was crawling on her foot. She stoop up and ran away from the multicolored reptile.

The reptile did not appreciate almost getting stepped on and may its way over to the slightly groggy form of saichi, who was awakened by the loud commotion in his class. Stopping at his foot the snake stood up straight, saichi's hand came down in front of it and the snake wrapped itself around his arm.

Saichi paid no mind to the people around him as he pet the head of the snake, that as currently around his arm. He didn't know what all the commotion was for the beautiful creature was docile and look like it had no intention of hurting anyone, it probably was looking for somewhere warm because of all the up and coming cold weather. It seems that it liked his hoodie, it was soft and warm and the dark color attracted some heat.

While saichi was admiring the snakes shifting scales, his classmates were looking dumbfounded how could someone who looks so fragile could hold such a dangerous creature and not be scared. Some are looking at him like it's the first time seeing him (granted that might be the case) they saw him in a new light.

As every one was looking at something that preoccupied there attention, no one noticed that the classroom door had been open and the young figure from before was watching them that smirk still evident on his face and silver eyes peering on the inside.
