Depression to you may seem
Like a mere weakness
Like a useless mind setting
A little something like meekness
Depression is a hole
That people feel trapped in
Kinda like a whirlpool
Something that some get grabbed in
But are they really depressed
Or are they just faking?
Maybe they're trying to deceive you
Attention right there for the taking
I myself know of a few people
Who have this chronic sadness
I also know of a select few who pity-grub
Now that's true madness
If you are someone
Who is suffering from depression,
Don't worry, you're not alone
Plenty of others feel your emotion compression
