Why were you scared?
I wasn't going to hurt you
But you ran and hid anyway
Like it was what you needed to doWe were just playing a fun game
For two players, maybe even three
I thought you were having fun as well
Or perhaps that was just meIt was just an innocent game
I simply called it hide-n-seek tag
But we were supposed to play in the house
While the seeker wore over their head a clothy bagWhat was so scary about that?
Was it because you thought we weren't alone?
Perhaps your mind played tricks on you
And made chills within your spine boneYou were very scared
Of your own hallucinations, I assume
But your bones make a lovely decoration
They brighten up my dull, gray room
