A month after she was gifted her new home...

"Bitch will you put the phone down?" Tiana grabbed for Sheira's phone for the thousandth time.

"Last text, I promise. Reign is telling me something important."

"What's important?" Shy asked pouring her and Tiana more wine.

"He wants to know when is the last time I ate. My doctor says Im small. "

"What do you mean small?"

"He says I should try snacking in between my meals because my baby is small as of right now."

Shy tuned out the conversation as she dug around her cabinets grabbing chips, dip, and ice cream. She also grabbed a thing of oreos, nutter butter cookies, and fruit snacks. She took those things to the living room and filled the coffee table. She went to the kitchen and grabbed more wine and v8 splash juice for Sheira.

"Y'all tryna watch movies and stuff She She with snacks?" Shy interrupted the conversation.

"You don't have to tell me twice," Tiana was the first one out of her seat with her wine glass.

"You don't have to tell her greedy ass twice," Sheira rolled her eyes.

"HEARD THAT! YOU SHOULD TRY IT!" Tiana yelled from the living room.

"Come on before she eats all of my nutter butters."

For the Friday afternoon, the ladies spent the day, day drinking and talking to the movies that played on the TV. They all had the day off and wanted to enjoy time together. Each woman had been collectively busy over the course of four weeks and they'd found some bonding time. They spent their time together while unbeknownst to them, they're men spent time working the day away.

"So..." Tiana used her favorite thinking word.

"So..." Sheira copied her tone.

"I've been thinking..."

"Thinking what?" Shy asked growing antsy.

"Mirage wants wo have kids."

"And? What have you said back?"

"Nothing."

"Why?" Shy and Sheira asked in unison.

"Because he hasn't said anything to me. He's been talking to Sincere about it. I heard them on the phone and these niggas tryna set us up."

"Who?"

"Me and Shy. Sin said specifically that they getting to old and that Mirage control whether or not I have kids because "he the one sticking". He lucky he wasn't here when I got here because I was gonna stick his ass."

"When was this?" Shy asked fully interested and humored.

"Last week and after that I stopped listening but I've been peeping. Can you please tell me why my birth control came up missing and Mirage acted deaf dumb when I told him to pull out. Then I bought plan B and went to take one, can you tell me why the pills were untouched but when I opened all three the pills were popped out of the pack in every one I bought."

Shy and Sheira fell out laughing while Tiana stale faced them.

"What the fuck is so funny?"

"You. How do you talk about missing him all the time and when he's home and in your face and decides he's ready for kids your mad. Isn't this the kind of stuff you wanted?"
