Chapter 1: The New Students

A young teenage male stood before a dorm room. Word had it that this room was abandoned by its last resident. Not many knew that it belonged to his uncle. It has been maintained but it was weird for him. He was given the same name as a namesake by his mother. This teenager's name was Jude.

He entered and dropped his stuff off. He figured he could settle in and fix everything up before he went to sleep.

Jude exited his room to see a guy come out of the room next to him. Jude didn't want to interact with his neighbour but he had no choice in this matter.

"Hey there, the name's Parker." The boy named Parker greeted. "Hi... I'm Jude." Said the somewhat shy teen.

"I'm guessing we're both new here. It's nice to meet you, Jude." Parker said with a smile. It was clear that he was always the enthusiastic guy.

"Nice to meet you too." Jude said, not even looking at Parker. "Hey, the tour's over so how about we check the common room. Maybe we can meet some cute girls there." Parker said with a smile as he said the last sentence.

Jude reluctantly followed him as they both went to the common room.

"Shawn, I blame you for what ever is going to happen." Jude said silently to himself as he was talking with a voice inside his head.

"Come on Jude, you need to socialize." Said Shawn. "I prefer my own company thank you very much." Jude mumbled as he just walked behind Parker.

The two made it to the common room to find two girls sitting down watching TV.

"Hey there, I'm Parker, and which one of you lovely ladies is gonna be my bride?" Parker introduced himself while Jude just face palmed muttering the word, 'idiot' the whole time.

"Hey, I'm Jude and this moron here is Parker." Jude said while pointing with his thumb at Parker.

"Hey, I'm Ruby and this girl here is Samantha, but I call her Sammy." The blonde girl known as Ruby introduced herself. The other girl, Samantha, had a scowl on her face and said, "Listen kid, don't call me that again."

She was obviously someone who you didn't want to fuck with. Jude looked around and chose to leave.

"What's the hurry, Jude?" Ruby asked. "I just wanna be left alone." He said before she got up and followed him. He wasn't aware of it but he was naturally paranoid, so he'd look back the whole time, but Ruby kept herself well hidden whenever he'd turn his head.

Eventually he made it back to his dorm room but before he could open it, Ruby spoke up startling him, "What's the matter?"

"Nothing, okay." "Is that why you're being anti-social?"

"I just keep myself away from others. I'm an outcast and I prefer to keep it like that." Jude explained. "You wanna stay the outcast. Is it because you couldn't make friends?"

"It doesn't matter. Stay out of my hair and I'll stay out of yours. I'm not here to make any friends." He said before going into his room.

Ruby sighed and walked back to the common room. She sat down next to Samantha and Parker and she didn't say a word. Her conversation with Jude was what kept her silent and so deep in thought.

Two more students then came out. One was a raven haired male who's name was Tyler. The other was a brunette by the name of Eve.

"Hey guys, the name's Tyler. Nice to meet you all." Tyler said with a smile. He clearly didn't want to make any enemies.

"I'm Eve." The girl said as if she had no emotion. "Hey, Tyler and Eve, I'm Parker, this is Ruby and Samantha, my future wife." Parker introduced himself and the other two before Samantha punched him in the gut.

"Okay, she's the bad girl, he's the flirt and I'm not sure about her." Eve said as he analyzed them. "There you go again, trying to read people like a book." Tyler chuckled.

"So I take it you two know each other?" Parker asked to which Tyler nodded.

"It's nice to meet you all." Tyler said before Parker said, "Likewise."
