I've grown up in a small town, right in the centre of England, my life soo far has been some what normal, obviously except my abilities but still a normal life non the less.
I wake up, I go to school, I come home after football practice, I do homework, then hav dinner and then go to sleep. It's a never ending cycle, quite a boring cycle.
However today when I woke up I felt a new sense of purpose you could say. Because today after school my mum is starting my training in order to be the better mee, god knows what that means.

I'm currently doing my morning routine, getting up, having a wash, brushing my teeth and hair, you know the script. After I'm done and I've picked a jaw dropping outfit, like I do everyday, I make my way downstairs, normally I'm greeted by my parents both sitting drinking coffee on the breakfast island in our kitchen. Today however was very different I'm greeted by no one, which is rather weird, there's always at least someone down here when I arrive, but all I'm left is a note. "Needed to get supplies" was written in my mums ever fancy handwriting. So that explains my mums whereabouts, but what about my dads.
Ahh well I guess he's busy with something.
So I grab some breakfast and head out the door, I have walk to school cause I can't get a bike license yet, but when I do, man I'm going to look even more bad ass.
I'm walking down my long ass road to school when a totally new smell hits my senses.

I look around not being able to fully pin point the smell, it's everywhere. I quicken my pace not knowing what is going on. If I get to school I'll be fine, no one can get mee there cause of the humans.

"Yes, smart thinking Ryan" one of the voices say. I chuckle lightly at that, they don't usually compliment mee so when they do, it kinda gives mee a bit of a boost.

I can see the school coming up a head off, but the smell seems to be getting stronger the closer I get. What do I do? What do I do? Shall I run the rest of the way. Fuck, this is soo frustrating.

So I set of in a sprint not my supernatural speed but a very fast human speed, that's fastest I can go without drawing attention to mee.

I can hear footsteps everywhere, they're moving fast, faster than mee, but why?

I want to know whose following mee cause i positive someone is now, well something is. No human has ever been able to keep up with mee, even though I'm running at a human speed.

I'm soo close now, I can already see the humans scattered around in their own social groups, I can also see my friends waiting at the gate for me, maybe if I shout them, they'd be able to distract whoever is following mee.

I didn't need to shout them though, it's like they can sense my presence cause they filled their heads up almost like they knew I was there even though I'm probably a quarter of a mile away, their faces light up when they see mee, but quickly change to a look of concern. What's going on with those two?

I doesn't really matter now, I just have to make it to school. Come one stupid human legs, why'd you have to be soo slow?

My friends have set off walking to meet mee half way it looks like, but they look angry now, no longer concerned, are they angry at mee? No they can't possibly be, I haven't done anything wrong. When I finally get to them, they push mee behind them, sort of protectively, now I'm not being funny but they're tryna protect mee, of all people. I can sense that the people that was following mee hav stopped and were hiding somewhere. It's only just clicked that I've just shown them where my school was. Ffs.

After a few minutes Jackson and Macy turn around and embrace mee. They ask question after question. "Are you okay?" "What made you start running?" "Did they get you?" "Did they touch you?" Who the fuck Is they? So clearly these two can sense the strange beings aswell. Wtf.

"Who's they guys?" I hear myself say. They let mee out of their embrace and place mee about an arms length away with their hands on either shoulder, they look to be studying me probably for any cuts or bruises that could indicate that, 'they' did get mee.

"That doesn't matter right now Ryan, let's just get you inside where it's safe" Jackson says keeping mee close to his side. 'Safe' why wouldn't I be safe. Who was following mee? I really wanna know now. Considering it's got my 2 human friends on edge.

We start walking in school, I can still faintly smell my followers but it's very faint, the rest of the scents in the school seems to dilute their scent, but I can tell they're still outside, I just hope they fuck off before I finish school, I don't wanna put Jackson and Macy in harms way. I can handle myself and I've got football training tonight, which means dads picking mee, what a bonus, so even if they are still here they wouldn't risk showing them selves to a human would they?

The day carried on as normal, well as normal as I can for mee, let's just say I was paranoid as fuck.

The final bell rang out clearly above our heads, me, Jackson and Macy, all started packing away our books from the lesson we just had and started heading out.

As we were approaching the main entrance, I got a massive whiff of wet dog, it nearly made me gag.

Jackson and Macy stiffened, why? I have no idea.

We took one step out and the smell invaded my enhanced senses, I quickly scanned my surroundings and the car park for my dads car. Football training starts in an hour and it takes 30 mins to drive there.

Where the fuck is he? I thought.

I'll have to ring him, so I dug my phone out of my back pocket and proceeded to call him.

It rang twice then went straight to voice mail. Is he taking the piss right now? Wtf am I suppose to now, I'll take mee well over an hour to walk there and I've still got to get changed.

I turn back to Jackson and Macy and they were both stiff as a board and they'd lost all colour from their faces and were staring at at least, 7 huge men.

Who the fuck are they? When I faced the men the smell got stronger. Wtf is going on. I just want to get to my football training.
Where the fuck are you dad?
