Liam's POV
My mother says love comes fast like waves to the shore. You can't expect it. It flows where it wants. Sophia ignites felling within me I can't articulate. My heart skips a beat, my palms sweat, my inner thoughts are overtaken by her. I can not tell her she's been through enough if I tell her I risk losing all I worked for. I will be taken off her case which means I can't protect her. My love is overwhelming though, my heart aches for her. I mustn't let her sweet melodic voice distract me from my duty to serve, protect , and enforce. My heart will have to suffice for now
