It's starting to get dark I head to the car and pull the back seats down. I pull my blankets and pillow out, and make a makeshift bed. I lock the car and cover the windows and the way my car is the backseats go down and feeds into the trunk.
I slept like 3 hours total last night. I was so scared but at least I have the car. I go to the convenience store a block away so I can walk there when suddenly my phone rang. I check the caller I.D., a lump in my throat forms, it says Daddy.
