Heads up the chapter below happens a week after the last chapter  

Step by step, this then that; my new motto.  

There's this cool youtube channel I watch called The Game Theorists. I was always a gamer growing up and still am now so seeing how math and science apply to a hobby of mine is interesting and opens my eyes to something I never thought of before and Austin always makes me giggle so that's a plus. 

Chief has me and Rochelle seeing a therapist every other day and she's been helping me understand and cope with what happened to my mom. Rochelle has finally told me what happened to her. 

The story goes like this. when she was in the fifth grade her father had a run in with the gang she was in, and they showed up at her house to kill him. She begged them to spare his life, that she would do anything in return.  The leader took this seriously and told her to pack her stuff. she did in order to save her dads life. The leader then took her to the car with the rest of the gang and drove off. 'You belong to me and the gang now, whatever I say is the law. If your father is that important to you, you will join us. I will not hesitate to kill you both. Understood?' she nodded. from that day on she had lived her life by the gang's rules. She was raped and beaten to the leader's decretion. She officially joined when she turned 13. She fell in with a new member two years ago. He was plotting to get her out of the gang and restart her life. However, discovered and killed on the spot. She managed to escape and ended up here in this room with me.

A/N 

I know I said I would update during the summer but I had a family emergency take up my whole summer. However, I will go back to my update schedule which is Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
