You are lonely and find peace in a small little cafe in Cheongdam, Seoul. There you meet a young guy the same age as you, for weeks you have a connection.. until you can't live without each other.
The day has arrived. You're with Felix and you're so close to that tiny little restaurant you love so much.
Felix's warm touch makes you feel so safe.. he draws away after a tight hug; the feeling of his kiss emblazoned onto you forehead and you can still feel his presence there. He looks down at you and smiles. Still with his hand on your waist. Yet again, it is silent, there is nothing but breathing, the sound of cars in the distance and some distinct sound of chattering from the people nearby. You're happy, you're satisfied. Everything is going perfect.
With his hand on your hip, he spins you around and keeps you close to him "Baby.. let's go.. take me to where we are going!" He says slightly excited.
You smile, your dimples making Felix smile so brightly as he admires every inch of you. He is mesmerised by your beauty and makes you fully aware of it as he places his hand on one cheek and glares deeply into your eyes, you looking back lovingly, it happened .. you've completely fallen in love with Felix and you're so happy to be with him now, he's with you, you're with him, no one interrupting you, you are him in perfect harmony, walking towards the little restaurant.
It's exterior is as beautiful as always, Felix is confused, he's never seen this place but he trusts you and follows you. His hand intertwined with yours as you enter the slightly ajar door. It's warm interior welcomes you, along with all the other bright faces of those there for Valentine's Day. You bow and greet all like normal, Felix following your lead then suddenly you hear your name being called:
"(Y/N) oh my oh my!!! You're hear my lovely (y/n)!!" Shouts auntie from across the room as she comes running towards you, wide smile and arms spread out to welcome you in a motherly hug.
You hug her tightly and reply so softly "Auntie, I'm back, you look so lovely, Happy Valentine's Day auntie! Ah.. this is Felix!" You tug Felix's hand pulling him to the side of you as he hid slightly behind you.
"Omo.. sweet boy.. you look so handsome.. I'm glad you're here with my (y/n)!" She expresses in pure delight, looking at Felix longingly before returning back to you and grabbing your free hand and pulling you "come baby, come, I set up your table and uncle will bring your food soon! He is wearing a suit! I made him dress up today."
You and Felix both follow her, you laugh so slightly as you answer "thank you auntie, I'll be sure to tell uncle that he looks great! He must look so smart."
She laughs in acknowledgement and nods as you sit down opposite Felix, your hands connecting across the table and him smiling softly at you.
"Wow.. this place is beautiful.. this place.. it suits your personality.. because it's so warm and welcoming.. just like you.. so warm and sweet.. I love it!" He exclaims and his smile grows massively as he looks so lovingly at you.
You can feel your cheeks warming and you are just so blessed in his presence .. it is everything you wished for and you can't wait for more 'little lunch dates'.
Music is playing lightly in the background, it's Taylor Swift's Love Story, a song both you and Felix are familiar with and he starts to mouth the words, tightening his grip on your hands and trying not to be so shy. He's just as happy as you with this situation.. he really likes you and he wants to show it. He will show it. Today is the start.
Auntie looks on in awe.. she pulls uncle in and they both look at you, he's happy, he's proud. They take a picture of you together and then brings over your food. Dish by dish Felix is amazed at how good the food is. He expresses his love to auntie and uncle every time they come over and thanks you for bringing him here; "Thank you so much, this place.. it's truly unexpected, it's so lovely and I'm glad to experience it with you! Thank you.. thank you"
It's all over and time is getting on, you stayed and talked for ages and took some selfies together as memories of this 'little lunch date'.
You leave the restaurant but only after a loving goodbye to auntie and uncle Lee, kissing them each on the cheek in gratitude and waving softly goodbye. Felix catches your hand as you turn around and keeps you close with him, where it's safe in the cold weather.
You walk, hand in hand for quite some time, refusing to go back to the subway because it's best for you to stay in this small quiet town, away from anyone else and in each other's company, you share stories and jokes, laughing and talking, life is perfect and you don't want it to end.
A few more hours pass and it's evening already, it's dark and cold. The wind had picked up but Felix has pulled you in to act as your windbreaker. He will protect you from everything. For now you're his, you're his interest and he'll never let anyone hurt you.
He leads you towards a bridge, there's no cars, no people, most people are having Valentine's dinner now but you decided on lunch just so you could have these private moments with Felix.
"I can't believe this (y/n) it's perfect now.. it's so quiet and all I have to worry about is you.. me and you.." he looks longing and loving at you like he has all night and pulls you in closer, hands wrapping around your waist and face coming closer to you.
Your heart is pounding out of your chest, his breath is so warm on your cold face, he is inches away and you are desperate for his touch.
He leans down, looks you in the eyes before smashing his lips into yours, he pulls you in more and places one hand on your waist and the other on the small of your back.
The kiss is lightening to you .. it's electric.. it's magic.. it's everything you ever wanted.
Minutes pass and you're still connected, you feel like the only two in the world and wish you could stay like that forever.. but eventually and carefully you both draw apart but keep in reach of each other and his hand stays steady on your hip. You turn around saying nothing at all and he wraps his arms around you again, placing his head on your shoulder in a much needed back hug.
You look out at the night and the water from the bridge where you both kissed for the first time..
You'll remember this forever .. it's not just a dream anymore .. this is your reality.. forever..
All because of a 'little lunch date'.
