Valentine's Day Times Two

Valentine's day was approaching and Simón had planned this first Valentine's day with Ámbar to be perfect. He had planned out every detail. For this day to be perfect, he asked for Luna's help and they decided to meet in the park to make sure his girlfriend won't know of all the surprises he had in store. He had thought long about this, he wanted this day to be unforgettable and he believes he is going to pull this off.

Luna was late to their meeting as usual but Simón was used to it and doesn't mind. He was sitting on a bench that holds a lot of memories for him and his girlfriend. He had comforted her right here after the whole Sharon fiasco. She was so sad that day and it broke his heart to see her like that. But he had such a warm feeling inside of him when he made her smile. He loved to see that sincere smile of hers, it was the most beautiful sight in the world. 

"I'm sorry for being late." Luna interrupted his thoughts while she was breathing heavily. 

"Luna, you don't have to apologize every time you're late. It's okay." he answered her and she sighed in relief.

"So tell me exactly what you're going to do tomorrow and I'll help you wherever I can." she said while sitting down next to him.

He already told her every detail but he just told her the things that still need to be this done this time. The more she heard about his plans, the more excited she got. She was truly happy for both of them. 

After discussing the last details about tomorrow, Simón asked: "So what exactly do you have planned for your boyfriend tomorrow?"

Luna was a little confused about his question but she quickly realized something and Simón could tell by seeing the shock on her face. She shook him a little harder than intended and said: "I totally forgot about getting him a gift." 

"Luna." he paused for a moment. "Don't worry, you still have time to get him something."

"You think so?" she frowned.

"Of course, I'll help you." he said as he stood up. "But if you want to get it in time, we have to look now." 

Luna jumped up from the bench and she started walking as fast as she could.

"Where are you going?" Simón was a little confused. 

"To the stores of course." she said turning around before getting back to walk.

Simón laughed at her sudden hurry and shook his head before following close behind.

Luna came home later after looking for a gift for hours. She still couldn't believe she had forgotten. But knowing Matteo, he would have planned something very romantic already. She couldn't help but feel guilty that she didn't think of anything to do tomorrow. She wanted to be the one to surprise him for once. Certainly, this gift would already be a surprise but she wanted to do better than that so she went through the night restlessly, trying to think of something for tomorrow. It had to be something flexible since she has no idea what he has planned this time. 

She finally fell asleep after finding the perfect idea. But she didn't get to sleep much since Matteo woke her up calling.

She groaned as she picked up the phone: "Hello?" 

"Good morning to you too, chica delivery." he couldn't hide his laugh.

"Matteo." she sat up as she realized who was on the phone.

"Get ready, I'm taking you out in an hour." he said, not wanting no for an answer.

"You want to take me out in the morning?" she said, still a little sleepy.
