Chaper 3- Janice opens up

Lark Creek Elementary

Leslie's POV

It's been 5 days since I first met Garath and I couldn't be happier. Not only did I find love outside of my own family, but now Garath is happy. I felt sorry for him when I heard his beloved cat was eaten by an alligator. But now, he has me, and nothing will ever separate us.

"Well, well. If it isn't the new dweeb." Janice said.

"Back off Janice. Or there will be trouble. For you." I said

"Oh, what are gonna do to stop me?" Janice asked

"Not me. Him." I replied.

Janice turned around to see that Garath was standing behind her.

"Is this witch giving you trouble sweetheart?" He asked

"Yes. She is." I answered.

"Don't worry, I'll handle her." Garath replied and he started hitting Janice with everything he had. After he did a Spinning Hook Kick, Janice was rendered unconscious.

He looked at Janice's friends.

"Let this serve as a warning. If I ever catch any of you bothering my girlfriend, you're all gonna wake up in the trauma unit." He said.

"Oh, Leslie's your girlfriend? We didn't know." Carla replied.

"It doesn't matter. If you ever come near her again, it'll be the last mistake you ever make. Now begone." Garath said angrily
Carla and the other bullies ran off.

Garath walked over to me and we made out passionately.

"Thank you honey." I said sweetly

"Anything for you, my love." Garath replied

"So, the king has finally found his queen?" Madison asked

"Back off Madison, or you will suffer the same fate as Janice." Garath said coldly, as he gave her his death glare.

Madison gulped and backed away. She'd never seen Garath so serious before.

"And I suggest you leave Jesse alone, or I will bury you alive." Garath added

"Wait, you don't understand. I only pick on him as a joke." Madison said

"Why is that?" Garath asked angrily

"Because I love him." Madison answered

"Well, then I guess I misunderstood you. Alright, I'll let you go. But I'm warning you Madison. If I ever catch you bothering Leslie, it'll be your last mistake." Garath said.

"Yes. I understand. But please, tell Jesse that I never meant to hurt him." Madison said.

"Don't worry. I'll be sure to let him know." Garath replied.

"Thank you." Madison said before walking away.

Timeskip: Ms. Edmunds' class

My POV

It was time for music class and everyone was ready to learn. I sat next to Leslie and waited for Ms. Edmunds to arrive.

"Good morning class. Today, we'll be singing songs of our choice. Any volunteers?" Ms. Edmunds asked as she walked in the room.

No-one raised their hand except me.

"Mr. Webb. Please, come and sing for the class." Ms. Edmunds said.

"Yes Ms. Edmunds. But, before I get down to the singing, I need to let you know that Janice must be taken to the hospital." I said calmly as I walked up to the very front of the classroom.
