I had to get over him. For months now, a stone had been sitting on my heart. I'd shed a lot of tears over him, lost a lot of sleep, eat a lot of cake batter. Somehow, I had to move on. Life would be hell if I didn't shake loose from the grip he had on my heart. I most definitely didn't want to keep feeling this way, alone in a love affair meant for two. Even if he'd felt like The One. Even if I'd always thought we'd end up together. Even if he still had a choke chain on my heart.
For whats the point he's gone and I'm here, alone.
It has been six months since the Cullen's left.
Six months of crying until I made myself sick.
Six months of sleeping for four days straight.
Six months of barely eating.
Six months of greasy hair because showering took to much effort.
Six months of living life as a zombie.
After Charlie's threat to send us back to live with our mom Bella and I have been trying harder. At least we pretend to. We went shopping with Jessica and began hanging out with Jacob. Bella had found two motorbikes that she wanted him to fix. I felt out of place hanging out with them, seeing how Jacob looks at her like a lovesick puppy. When they were finished Bella took a ride and hit her head. I didn't bother, having no interest in the bikes. Tonight was seeing a movie with Mike and Jacob. Bella had picked a movie called 'Face Punch'. I don't really care about the movie. It gets me out of the house and away from Charlie's pitying looks.
I've learned to play the part but in no way am I better, not even close. Its though someone punched a hole in my chest where my heart used to be. I hide from the world, wearing fake smiles and baggy clothes.
Starving myself for six months took a toll on my body. I lost a lot of weight. I'm skin and bones now.

"So it's just us four?" I ask Bella as we stand outside the theater.
She nods, "Looks like it."
During the moving Bella sat in between Mike and Jacob. I sat next to Jacob. I came to realize that this movie is really gory. Normally I'm not able to sit through these types of things, but feeling as numb as I do I'm completely unaffected. Halfway through the movie Mike ran out. Bella, Jacob, and I followed him. It turns out that the gore was too much for him and he needed to vomit.
"What a marshmallow," Jacob teased.
A ghost of a smile flickers on Bella's face.
"Your really hot," Bella says touching his arm.
He smirks, "Gee thanks Bells."
She slaps his arm, "Not like that. I mean your burning up," She feels his forehead with the back of her hand.
"It's just my natural heat," He shrugs.
Bella looks unconvinced but lets it go as Mike comes out of the bathroom.
"I must have ate something that didn't agree with me," Mike lies.
No one points it out as Mike begins speaking again. "Well, I better get home, see you at school." He sends Bella a longing gaze as he walks away.
Even though he's with Jessica he still manages to flirt non stop with Bella. I don't know how she doesn't see it.
"I guess I better go too, see you too later." Jacob flashes Bella a smile before leaving.
Without a word Bella and I leave the theater together.
The next day when Bella and I went to see Jacob his dad Billy informed us he was sick with mono. This lasted the next three days. He refused to answer any of Bella's calls or mine when she insisted I call him too. I couldn't care less but Bella just won't let it go. To ensure she doesn't do something stupid I went with her when she went over to Jacob's to confront him today.
When we arrive Bella sees three guys walking out of the forest in Jacobs backyard. She appears furious upon seeing them. She storms there way, steam practically coming out of her ears. I follow behind silently. I wear a baggy dark grey wool sweater, black sweat pants, and a pair of black uggs. My hair has grown longer and is held back in a messy bun.

"You! You did this!" Bella screams, standing in front of them. "He didn't want this!"
"What did he tell you?" One of them asks glaring at Bella.
"Nothing! Because he's scared of you!"
They all start laughing and Bella shakes in anger raising her hand and slapping the one who spoke across the face. The laughter stops immediately as the guy she slapped began to shake. His face looks dangerous as he glares at her.
"Bella get back," One of them says in a deep authoritative voice.
I pull Bella back when she continues to stand there. Suddenly, before my eyes the shaking guy's clothes rip and standing in his place is a huge silvery grey wolf with brown eyes. The wolf growls, snarling at Bella.
We turn, ready to run and see Jacob running out of his house.
"Jake run!" Bella screams.
He runs straight at us and in mid-air transforms into a huge Russet colored wolf with brown eyes.
"Take them to Emily's!" The deep-voiced man yells at the other guy.
The other guy walks up and I recognize him as Embry, Jacobs friend. Only now he looks buff like he's taking steroids buff.
"Come on, all will be explained at the house," Embry says, leading us to Bella's truck.
She hands him the keys in shock and we pile into the truck. As were driving one thought swims around in my head.
