The Volturi accepted Bella's new vampire status and would want proof over time. They would also want to know that I've turned. Our only enemy left is time. Renesmee is growing too fast. We all worry about how long we have with her. She went from looking like a one-year-old to a ten-year-old. As it turns out Jacob imprinted on Renesmee. At first, I had no idea what imprinting means until Jacob explained it. Imprinting is the wolf's version of love at first sight and soulmates.
Bella was really mad at Jacob for imprinting on Renesmee. I guess I missed quite the fight.
"Aunt Callie! Aunt Callie!" Renesmee tugs my arm.
"Hey there Ren," I smile down at her.
"Mommy, Jakie, and I are gonna catch snowflakes! Will you come with us?"
"I have to ask d-jasper, " I say not wanting to call him daddy in front of her.
"Okay," Renesmee skips over to Jacob who was leaning against the wall.
Daddy sits on the couch with Mason. I sit on his lap and lean to whisper in his ear.
"Daddy? Ren wants to know if I can catch snowflakes with her. Can I go?"
Daddy kisses my neck, "Of course you can baby."
I smile and get off his lap, "I can go, Ren!"
Daddy helps me pick out a warm outfit to wear in the snow before I leave with Bella, Renesmee, and Jacob.
We end up in Bella and Edward's field.
"Look mommy a snowflake," Renesmee says holding out her hand.
"It's beautiful why don't you do get another one?" Bella says smiling.
I stand by Jacob who is in wolf form watching Renesmee. Bella walks back and stands on the other side of Jacob.
"Edward thinks will find answers in Brazil, there are tribes there that might know something." She says, looking towards Renesmee who jumps in the air ten feet to catch a snowflake.
Suddenly Renesmee freezes and jumps back down next to Jacob. Hugging Jacob's leg she looks to Bella.
"Who's that mommy?"
"I think that's one of our cousins from Denali," Bella responds.
"Irina!" She shouts running after her at vampire speed.
She returns a few minutes later alone.
"Let's go home, now."
The four of us make our way back to the Cullen's. Once we're home I make my way to daddy and sit on his lap. Jacob walks back in the house in human form. Bella begins explaining what happened.
"Irina thinks Renesmee is an immortal child, she's going to the Volturi," Carlisle says in a worried tone.
"But she was born not bitten," Bella argues.
"Immortal children?" Jacob asks.
Carlisle glances at Renesmee and me.
"Why don't you and Ren go watch a movie in my room?" Daddy suggests to me.
Renesmee smiles and nods taking my hand. I give daddy a kiss before following Renesmee to daddy's room. I take off my shoes and jacket before sitting on the bed. I let Renesmee pick the movie, 'Beauty and the Beast.'
By the time the movie ends Edward comes in and retrieves Renesmee.
"Bedtime," Renesmee frowns but doesn't argue.
"Goodnight Ren! Ed!"
"Goodnight aunt Callie!" Renesmee kisses my cheek before she leaves.
"Night Callie," Edward smiles.
Edward, Renesmee, and Bella leave to their cabin. Alice gifted it to them as a birthday present for Bella. I almost forgot I turned nineteen.
Daddy walks in and carries me downstairs for dinner. BLT sandwich lays chips and blueberries. When I was done eating daddy changed me into my PJs and let me pick a movie to watch in his room. I picked 'The little mermaid'.
Cuddling with daddy under the covers I watched the movie. Halfway through I fell asleep. I woke to daddy turning the TV off.
