Chapter Three

The bell rang and Chase made his way to his Math class. He took his seat and Bree soon came in after him and sat down next to him. “Hello again Chase” she smiled.

            “Hi Bree” he said.

            “I absolutely hate math” she said putting her head back and groaned.

            Chase frowned. “How can you hate math. Math is like the best subject in the world!”

            Bree looked at him “So, You’re a nerd then?”

            “Excuse me?”

            “I have never heard anyone saying that they ‘love’ math before”

            “I never said I loved it”

            “Yea but you implied it”

The bell rang for the next class and Chase and Bree walked together in the hallway. “Wow, you are really good at math” Bree said to him.

“That’s because I love it” he said to her.

He shook her head and smiled “So what class do you have next?”

“History”

“Oh, then you will be in my brother Leo then”

“How will I know who he is?”

“Don’t worry, you will know” Chase smiled. The two walked together in the hallway untill the bumped into Marcus.

“Sup’ Chase”

“Hey Marcus”

“And hello beautiful” Marcus said to Bree.

Bree smiled. “Keep walking junior”

“Oh come on now, I’m only a year younger than him. There is no need for any hate” Bree laughed and Marcus smiled. He loved making the ladies laugh. “So Chase, what Class do you have next?”

“History”

“And you Bree?”

“Chemistry”

            Marcus smiled “It looks like I will be having this class with you then beautiful” he said winking and walked off.

            Chase shook his head “Sorry about that. My brother can be… a little weird”

            “Not as weird as a guy who loves math” she said.

            Chase laughed “Like I said, I didn’t say I loved math”

            “But you do” Bree said. “Anyway. Since we are going to be locker buddies and classmates, let’s get to know each other better”

            Chase blushed “Um… Sure. Let’s say… during lunch?”

            “Why not now?”

            “Because I like to getting to class early”

            Bree laughed “Okay. See you later nerd” she said and walked away, letting her brown hair way back and fourth behind her.

            “My name is Chase for you information” he yelled after her.

            “Yea I know. But now I am calling you nerd” she called back.
