~Ez's POV~

I gently took RK's hand after she calmed down. Her eyes still held an amount of uncertainty as I helped her into the passenger seat of the truck. I rubbed the back of her hand, hoping it'd help ease her mind. Once she was situated, I went back into the room and grabbed her bag. I had begun zipping it up when I saw a picture tucked under her hat.

I bite the inside of my cheek as I picked it up, my eyes glancing at it. I recognized Jax and RK, but found myself puzzled over the baby girl in RK's arms. The baby had Jax's blue eyes and RK's dark hair. I flipped it over, looking for a date or name.

I shake my head and put it back in the bag, then I zip it up and carry it to the truck. I give RK my best smile, praying it doesn't look fake. I masked my heartache and got in the driver's seat. RK looked to me, a knowing smile on her face.

"Yes, Ezekiel," she said, "Jax and I had a daughter.".

"What happened to her," I meekly asked.

"Child Protective Services came and took her on her second birthday. I was twenty two and was twenty nine, but both of us were good parents. They took her because my mother told them what Jax did with the Sons.".

I frowned softly and gently took her left hand into mine. I rubbed her knuckles and watched her squeeze my hand. She then scooted closer to me.  She seemed shaken up by what she told me.

I rubbed her hip and kissed her forehead before starting the truck. I could tell she was struggling and I felt my heart vow to help her get through it. She laid her head against my shoulder. She closed her eyes and I heard her begin to softly snore.

I rub her side and begin the drive. Whenever I'd stop at a stoplight or stop sign I'd glance over to her, feeling responsible and guilty over what she was going through. I felt her shift in her sleep a bit, her cheek squished against my shoulder.

My mind went back to the picture of her daughter, then I began thinking of a way to track her down. I locked my jaw as I kept driving, but I stayed calm.

Can I help RK find her baby girl? Will she want her back?
