Jr and Tani got an early start to their office extra 5.0 cases, they had two unsolved murders that stumped HPD. Tani slid Jr his cup of coffee and Jerry walked through the door. It seemed like no one could sleep. With Wo Fat back on the island, and Steve having a secret child, everyone's nerves were shot.

Jerry worked on possible theories and tried to see if he could make sense of all the clues. They still didn't know why Wo Fat killed that man and his wife.

Tani and Jr worked quietly. The phone rang and Jerry picked it up. Silence. Then the dial tone. He shrugged it off as a prank call. Jerry decided to retreat to Steve's office. Noalani came through to find the team. She handed some papers about the victims to them, as Wo Fat walked in.

He drew a gun and fired into the wall. He watched them scramble to get coverage, and they returned fire. Jr shot him in the leg and once in the arm, it wasn't enough. Wo Fat struggled from the intense burning sensation in his limbs but fired at Tani. Jr wasn't trying to kill him. Jr was trained to kill and wouldn't kill him. It was maddening. He purposely fired a shot towards Tani's head and missed. He could feel the pop in his chest. Yes.

The firing stopped and Jr, Jerry, Tani and Noalani all gathered near Wo Fat, not wanting it to be a trick. His vision was going dark, he could feel the life leaving his body. He tried to pull out the photo in his jacket pocket. Tani mistook it for a weapon and pulled it out for him. It was a picture of Lee and Wo Fat on their honeymoon in Bali. She flipped it over.

"Tell her I'm sorry."

Is what he wrote on the back. Tani could feel her hand trembling. She felt sadness for Lee, and guilt for Steve. Wo Fat was his worst enemy, he should of been the one to take him down. Then she remembered the call Jerry got earlier. The hang-up. It was Wo Fat, trying to figure out if Steve was in the building. Tani looked back down at Noalani who was trying to get a pulse. Nothing.

Jr whipped out his phone and called Steve to come to headquarters. Steve arrived 15 minutes later still in his pajamas. No one had moved Wo Fat. Steve looked at Wo Fat's body and sighed. He knew Lee was going to be heartbroken. He almost didn't want to tell her, but he knew he'd have to. Tani walked over to him and handed him the picture.

"He missed us on purpose." She said in a low tone.

Steve sighed and flipped the photo. "Why would he do this? He knew Lee wanted to be with him. Even if he was still in prison, she wouldn't have left him."

Steve thought of Joe and his own father. Leaving people you love so they don't have to deal with what comes after you get in trouble. He knew why. It hurt Steve to think about. His daughter leaving Hawaii because her husband forced his team to kill him.

Hours had passed and Noalani was performing the autopsy. Wo Fat was literally a mystery. Steve was in his office with his head in his hands. Trying to figure out what to say to Lee. He decided to make her come back to look at the body. He figured if he told her I we the phone, she wouldn't believe him. Steve called her and told her to come by, because he had news. She didn't like the sound of his voice.

When Steve finally led her to the morgue, she froze. He kept his hand near her back for extra support. Noalani felt bad, she hated Wo Fat for putting the team in danger but she was sad because it was the second day Steve saw his daughter and she was going to be mourning her husband.

Steve opened the door and led Lee in, Noalani stepped to the side and pulled back the sheet. Lee cried and Steve held her close. It was a little weird for him, the only person he thought would ever grieve the death of his enemy was his mother and Wo Fat's father. She was neither of those people, but he already hated seeing her sad. Lee sobbed until her eyes threatened to swell shut. Steve took her out of the morgue and sat her down in the hallway.

She sniffled and patted her eyes. "I lied to you." She said.

Steve looked at her, "When?"

"Yesterday when you wanted to know where he was. He was at the hotel. He was on the balcony. He was there the whole time. Now he's...in there. What happened?"

Steve sighed. "He came in and started shooting at the team. They didn't have a choice. They realized too late that he was intentionally missing them."

Lee shuddered, "That doesn't sound like him! You think he'd choose to go by suicide by cop?"

She was angry, Steve understood. "I think he chose the easier way out Lee and I know it hurts but you don't have to like it, you just...have to deal with it."

Lee started crying again. Her husband was gone and now she was alone. She was tired of everyone dying or getting locked up. She decided what she would do once she woke up and saw Wo Fat was gone. She was going to grant his last request. She'd get herself some attention from producers and labels, and she'd pour put her heart in her music.

Over the next few days, she spent them dodging Steve in her hotel room. She appreciates his candor but she didn't want to see him or his fellow teammates. She wanted nothing to do with them. She cried until her eyes were swollen shut. Her stomach aches and her heart felt like it was being ripped from her chest. She was angry and hurt. She talked herself out of going to see SangMin. It wasn't like she could touch him. She missed his hugs.

She wouldn't tell anyone about the money Wo Fat left her, she wouldn't do anything with it until she was sure where she wanted to be. There was one thing. She had to go back to the Philippines. She had an appointment to keep.

She stared out the window for most of her flight, wondering if Wo Fat or her mother could watch over her. She rolled her eyes at her internal thoughts. No way. Heaven was for good people. When she landed in the Philippines, there were monks waiting for her outside the airport. They hitched a ride in an old pickup truck. Back in the monastery, the monks and her, prayed. They sat and prayed over incense. Lee cried when she said goodbye. She made her way towards a church. There was a man kneeling in front of candles and praying. She kneeled next to him and put her head on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry I couldn't keep him safe." She said to the man.

He patted her head lightly and put his other hand on her leg. "My son always knew what he was doing. Even if the rest of the world didn't understand it. I don't blame you." His father said.

Lee wanted to cry, but the tears wouldn't come. She was all cried out. There was only sadness left. Wo Fat was gone but she didn't feel anything different then she did when her mother had been killed. She was over wanting people to live for her. She had to live for herself. She would leave the Philippines, and stay away from Hawaii, she wouldn't go back to New York or California. She wanted a new adventure. Someplace only she knew.
