The Journey to the Quest

I had woke up that next morning to my alarm and asked my parents if we could go out, all three of us. They said "That would be great, Jonathan! Should we head out in a hour?" "Yeah!" I yelled as I went to call Sock.

Sock: Hey, Jonathan.

Jonathan: Morning, my little prince!

Sock: Jonathan, it is too early for me, I just woke up.

Jonathan: Okay, I just wanted to tell you that I won't be home, I'm going out with my parents.

Sock: Okay, see ya later, Jonny bear.

Jonathan: Alright, bye, my little prince.

We hung up and I got ready for my day out with my parents. We went out to an all you can eat buffet and saw a new movie. It was fun! After the movie, we went to the theme park. I rode the roller coasters and played the games. I won a giant bear for Sock. It was starting to get dark, but my parents had something else for me, but they wanted Sock to come, too. I called him, asked if he was busy for the next few days, he said "no", and I told him to wait for us outside. We arrived and he got into the car. My parents told us it would take us a little while to get to our destination. I told Sock about my day and gave him the bear. We were halfway there when we stopped to get more gas. Me and Sock got a few snacks and drinks. I was taken by my parents to get where we were going. "So, we will give a few hints and if you get it, keep it to yourself. The hints are "It's below but is not hell. The mistaken were put here, and they are still determined to get out. They are an example of being humane, but are not human." We know you will get it soon." After ten minutes, I figured it out. We're going to Mt. Ebott. I couldn't wait. But something was bugging me, "How is it real?! I mean, wouldn't we hear about it in school or the news." For the rest of the trip until we got there, I was quiet. Sock saw that I had something on my chest and tried to talk to me, but I wouldn't budge. My mom could tell I knew, but I wanted to tell Sock. She told me that I'll be fine. Sock continued to talk about his day. When he finished, La Da Dee started to play on the radio. We all sang to it. In the middle of the song, I kissed Sock. My parents were to into the song to notice. We looked into each other's eyes and stopped. We held hands and flirted with each other. It was a beautiful night outside. The crickets were chirping, the stars were shining. On nights like this, couples like us should be having fun. Sock's head was on my shoulder and he was drifting to sleep. I felt myself falling asleep. My dad took a picture and posted it on Facebook. When I got notification, I ignored it and fell asleep.
