Music (differs from each quarter)

Foreign Language

English Language Arts

In science, we did a science experiment where we found out why the sky is blue. In math, we learned some calculus. In Social Studies, we learned some psychology. When we got to music, something weird happened to me.

We got to music and I saw that the board said "We are singing our favorite song to the rest of the class." I could tell no one else read the board, because when the teacher came in and told us what we were doing today, no one said that they read it off the board. We practiced our songs for half an hour. When everyone finished practicing their songs, Sock volunteered to go up first. I loved his voice, it was so nice. He sang Perfect. I had a weird feeling in my stomach and my heart. After he finished singing, I raised my hand without thinking. "Yes, Jonathan! You can go." the teacher said as I thought of a new song to match with Sock's song. I choose Something Just Like This. "I hope that Sock is taken away by my singing, he would take me into his arms, and kiss-Wait! No! You shouldn't feel this way because you're both guys, it's just weird." I thought as I sat back down. Everyone asked if they could get an extra 15 minutes because they had "inappropriate lyrics" in their songs. The teacher didn't believe that, but gave us the extra time anyway. After 10 minutes, Ms. Keyode called Sock and I away from the class. She looked at us, hopeful for some reason. Than she asked us if we liked each other. Sock and I looked at her with blush on our faces. After a few moments of silence, Sock finally spoke, "Um...*gulp*...I m-might like...J-J-Jon-nathan..." I looked at him with happiness and he was blushing super hard. I decided to step up and say it out loud to him. "S-Sock...I l-l-like you, too. L-like it s-st-started when I saw you this morning. When I s-saw you, m-my stomach had b-butterflies. I wasn't ready to talk to you, but before I could decide what to say, I just said "Hi, I'm Jonathan. What's your name?" and I just went with the flow." I did it, I told him. We went back to class and finished the lesson.
