Getting Over You

It was hard. It still is. I never thought I'd be in a situation where I had to erase you from my memories.

I thought we'd both create wonderful memories together.

I thought we'd lay under the stars and talk about the incredible things we did together.

I thought I'd lie in your lap and smile at you like you're my whole world.

But I never thought It would be this way.

How I sit thinking about how we both could have made it until the end.

How I always recapitulate the scenes of me looking into your eyes.

How I cry alone at 3am thinking about how all these will happen only between you and her, and never you and me.
