Emily Thorne stepped into Grayson Manor, her new permanent residence.
Fitting, she thought as she slowly turned in a circle, admiring her property. A manor for the new Queen of the Hamptons. The Queen of Thorns. Emily smirked at her new title. This should be renamed Thorne Manor. Emily couldn’t wait to see the look on Victoria’s face when she heard the new name. Hopefully that day never comes. The seeing Victoria again part.
Emily carefully walked up the stairs to the second level of Thorne Manor, taking in every photo and every painting. She noticed a Grayson family photo. I’ll have to get rid of that, she thought. Or run a red sharpie across Victoria's, Conrad's and Daniel's faces.
She turned the exquisite knob on the door to the master bedroom and pushed the door open. Emily walked into her new bedroom and brushed her hand against the freshly-made bedcovers.
Emily eventually made her way onto the balcony which she had seen Victoria on multiple times. Emily placed her hands on the waist-high walls around the edge of the balcony. Emily breathed in the fresh sea air and contemplated her position. She was the Queen of the Hamptons, the Queen of Thorns…
And she liked it.
