The invitations had been sent a week before, and already most people had RSVP’d. The party was to begin in a few short hours. Emily strolled around the house, preparing for the party with the rest of the rehired staff. Several security cameras were situated in every room for different views, which made sure Emily’s Housewarming Party, AKA the Takedown of Margaux LeMarchal would go off without a hitch.
Emily sipped the glass of wine in her hand. She could enjoy herself before the party. It was her party, after all.
Emily checked her watch. There were only two hours left until her takedown could commence. Emily decided to sit down and enjoy herself while she could without having to stress about Margaux’s location. Hence, she took another sip of her wine.
