Dibs POV:
I brushed past curious eyes on the streets as I pushed on towards Y/N's apartment. I accidentally knocked down trashcans, leapt over stray cats, and tried my best to avoid traffic, before arriving at Y/N's door.
I turned the knob to thankfully find the door unlocked. I rushed inside to find nothing misplaced, noting trashed, and everything seemed ordinary. However, the feeling never vanished. I searched room to room, only to find that the house was void of any life. It took me ten minutes before I stumbled upon a sticky note that had been recently pinned on the fridge. How can I tell? Detective Dib Membrane is on the case! (I had to 😂)
For anyone who may see this, I'm out with Zim!
I cringed at the thought of her and Zim being out alone. Not just in a romantic way, but I still had yet to fully trust Zim. After all, he is an alien. Immediately, I rushed to Zim's front yard and rang the doorbell repetitively, until the annoyed alien, who was currently out of his disguise, swung the door open.
"What does Dib-Stink want with Zim?" He snarled.
"HAI DIB-STINKY!" GIR greeted. I waved back uncomfortably.
"Do you have any idea where on earth Y/N is?" I found out later that I used a poor choice of words.
Zim crossed his arms. "Zim has no idea where on earth she is!" He closed his eyes and pointed up his chin to look more defiant. I thought about how he said on earth, and realized that Y/N, in fact, wasn't on earth at all. He took her.
"Are you sure, Zim?" I asked, impatiently. "Because Y/N wrote a sticky note saying that she was with you!" Zim looked appauled, then regained his stature.
"Well, it doesn't matter what she said, because Zim is grabbing GIR, Zim's house, and is leaving this crummy earth planet for good!" He shouted, before slamming the door in my face.
I tenderly rubbed the spot where the door had bumped my nose, and thought of a new plan. If he was leaving, he must have a ship. So I could sneak into his ship and find out where Y/N is. It's the only way.
I waited until dusk for Zim to warp his house back to cube size (Which, by the way, was shocking to experience). He then wandered out into the nearby woods, GIR following close behind. I caught up with them as quietly as possible, and continued my pursuit, and first step of Y/N's rescue.
about a mile into the forest was a big clearing, filled with nothing but matted grass. This must be where his ship is, I thought. And I was correct. A large ship appeared, in which Zim stored his belongings, and his entrance followed suit.
I was about to smuggle myself aboard the ship before a certain "dog" ceased my motion.
"DIB STINKY?" GIR said, suprised. I hushed him, and he listened.
"Hey, you know Y/N?" He shook his head no. I remembered that Y/N told me when she had to make waffles for the robot. "The waffle lady?" I said, clearly not amused.
"OH! WAFFLE LADY! ZIM'S NEW MAAAAAAATEEEEEE!" GIR whisper-yelled. Every muscle in my face contorted into a cringe when the faulty robot spoke. Disgusting! Surely she didn't make that choice, right!?
"Look, Y/N is in trouble." GIR stopped and paid mind to what I was saying.
"WAFFLE LADY HURT???" I had to lie in order for him to help me, so I nodded yes.
"WE HELP WAFFLE LADY!" GIR quietly war cried and I cheered in agreement. GIR was my ticket to Y/N.
"GIR! Where did you go? It is time to leave the crummy earth planet!" GIR nodded, and waddled over to me.
