I was trapped once again by a hunter. I was trapped in his web and couldn't escape. I ran around, searching for a cipher to decode. It took me a few minutes, but I finally found one. I started decoding it.

It didn't take long for someone else to help me. He was running away from Leo too, thankfully he lost him. He aided me in deciphering, pounding on the side of the machine to make it go faster. I looked up to see who it was, and to my surprise, it was Clark. I would call him Eli, but Clark just fits him better. I smiled at him, even though I knew he wouldn't see it. His owl was gone, searching for other survivors in the area.

"Clark, thanks for helping me," I told him, completing a calibration.

"No problem, y/n." Just as he said that, it was the final blow to the cipher. He ran off in front of me, me following behind him. I wanted to partner up with him. I knew it would be a bit of hassle and a risk, but I thought it would be for the best since decoding would go faster.

Eventually we came upon the third cipher. We did the same, however, midway Leo appeared. I ran off, expecting Clark to be behind me, but when I heard my heart settle down, I knew he wasn't. I looked behind me, and as I thought, he wasn't there. I searched for him. I could see the outlines of people and rocket chairs through the wall thankfully.

I spotted Leo and Clark almost instantly. As I thought, Leo has him strapped to balloons. Once he tied Clark to a rocket chair and left, I knew I could save him. It would take a little while to get there since I have to be stealthy, but it'll be worth it to have him back.

I ran through the multiple pieces of rubble to the main building. I could feel my heart beating hard again. I crouched down behind a couple boxes to hide myself from the hunter. Slowly moving towards a window, I hopped over it. Clark was in the basement with only a few more seconds to spare. I hurried once again, now down the steps.

I spotted him strapped to a chair with one of those white bobble head things that Leo sets out. Grabbing my capturing box, I opened it, unleashing a powerful vacuum and pointed it straight at the creature. It sucked up and closed by itself. I set it to the side as I hurried over to Clark to untie him. I barely managed to save him at the last second. I left the box since I had spares in my bag. We ran up the steps in search of more ciphers.

"Thanks for saving me," he said lowly. I couldn't help but smile and blush.

"No problem. It wouldn't be the same without you escaping too," I told him. Just when I said that and exited the building, the other survivors finished decoding the remainder of the ciphers.

Clark and I looked at each other and smiled.

"Let's escape," we said in unison. We ran through the fog in search of the exit. I noticed that Emma already fled the scene, but Fiona was still around most likely waiting to see if we were going to make it. I liked her for that; she was a sweet woman who looked out for us.

Leo's red light shine upon the ground in front of us. I told Clark to crouch, which we both did. Leo turned away from us, still searching for the remaining survivors. Once my heart became calm again, I grabbed Clark by the hand and dragged him with me to the exit in the distance. I could see Fiona waiting by the door, waving at us to hurry.

"It's about time! I nearly got caught by him!" Fiona exclaimed when we finally got there.

"Sorry," Clark told her monotonously, "let's get out of here, yeah?"
