Silence

Into the fog you ran. Away from the memories you tried to hide. You kept running until you tripped on a tree root. The two dark shadows descended upon you. Nothing was going to be able to keep them away from you this time.

You awoke screaming at the top of your lungs and sweating. Then you heard the sounds of David running down the hall towards your room. You hugged your knees and just sat there thinking, thinking about the nightmare you have been having since your were only 8 years old. David ran into your room and hugged you.

"Hey....Y/N its okay...I'm here now...they can't get you.." Tears were streaming down your face at this point. This was the worst nightmare you've had since you came to live with your brother. Suddenly David stopped hugging you and just looked at you, "Listen to me Y/N, I won't let them get ye okay.... especially while we are in America." You only nodded and laid back down. He left and went back to his room. You quickly fell asleep again, but unlike usual the nightmare didn't come back.

The next morning you packed for PAX. David had said that the flight left at about 11:30, it was currently 9:02. You went downstairs to find David making waffles. Surprisingly he didn't burn down that house. After you both ate you got into the car and drove to the airport.

We got to the airport a little late so we rushed onto the plane. You sat by the window seat and stared out the window. You hoped everything would be alright, but in the back of your mind you still had doubts. After sleeping for about 9 of the 11 hour trip, you decided to watch a horror movie. After the movie ended you just stared out the window once more when suddenly the 'Fasten Seat Belts' sign lit up.

After you and David landed you scanned the crowd, not knowing who you were looking for. Part of you felt like you were looking for none other than them. "Y/N?" David was waving his hand in front of your face. "Are ye okay? Ye look like you've seen a ghost..." you just shook your head. "I'm fine... who's picking us up?" you looked at him as he grabbed your suitcase from the baggage claim. "Some friends of John and Jaren are going to be landing in a few minutes so we are just gonna go with them in some ubers." Looking into the sea of people you started feeling like you were being watched.

You tugged at Davids sleeve to get his attention. "I'm going to go get some coffee...." Then you pointed at the Starbucks on the South wall. He just nodded and waited for his suitcase to appear. You order your coffee and started to make your way back to David. As soon as you got back beside him you latched onto his arm, knowing he didn't care because he knew how much you didn't like crowds. "Hey I think that's them" He pointed towards a group of men. You both started making your way over to the group. While you were making your way towards the men, you were still sipping your coffee and you were holding onto Davids sleeve like your life depended on it. As soon as you saw John and Jarens faces you let go of David and speed walked towards them. "Y/N!" They both shouted as they saw you. Then they both hugged you, only letting go when David had finally caught up with you.

"Slow down Y/N...." David panted. You were still sipping at your coffee, aware that the group of unknown men had been staring at the four of you for some time now. As you looked over to the men John immediately remembered that Cameron was the only one of them that knew who you were. Some of them knew David, but none of the rest of them knew you. "Oh... guys this is Y/N" He motioned towards you, and then motioned to introduced themselves. The man in the helmet went first, "Hello there miss...I am the one and only Swaggersouls" You nodded at him as another man stepped forward. "Hello I am Matt..." Another man just waved, "Hiyah Im Jay" Then a man with floofy hair walked up to you and shook your hand. "I'm Ezra", Cameron came up and hugged you. "Oh Y/N its been wayyy too long." you giggled. "Hi giraffe" He backed up as another man stepped up. "Oi, Hullo.... I'm Mason!.." He looked slightly autistic but who were you to judge. "I'm Toby the ambiguous queen!" He did a slight pose and you just giggled. You already knew Sam and Ryan so you three just hugged. After you had met everyone you had the feeling of being watched again.

All of you somehow fit into 4 different ubers. Eventually you all got to an air bnb. Per your wishes you did get your own room. Everyone else ere sharing rooms. David was sleeping at another air bnb with Evan and some of the other guys. As soon as you hit the bed you passed out. Due to your horrible nightmares getting worse since you had come back to America, you woke up in the middle of the night sweating. Except you were not alone in the bed. For some unknown reason, the cunt named Mason was sleeping on the other side of the bed.

He woke up a few seconds after you had jolted awake. "Oi I'm sorry but Jay like took over the bed and the couch was already taken..." you just sighed and laid back down. "Its fine I guess...Just stay on your side. " He laid back down as well, and he did keep to himself for most of the night. You woke up to a warm body snuggled up to you and the bright flash of a camera.
