Girlfriend

"OHMYGOSH I GOT IN!" Mira exclaimed with a wide smile on her face.

Nasa bulletin board kami para tumingin sa mga nakuha kahapon sa audition nila Mira. And thankfully she passed!

"Yieee congrats!"

"Sabi na eh, kayang kaya mo yun"

Para kaming mga tanga dito tumatalon-talon at dinadamayan ang kasiyahan ni Mira.

"Pero wait teka, tignan nyo!" Nika paused us.

She trailed her finger on the paper with the names of the people who got in.

She paused her finger on number 9..

Performer number 9..

"Zild Rianyle Villamonte.." Nika said

Ahh so Zild pala yung pangalan non..

"yung gwapo nakuha din?!" Mira said.

"Well, we cant blame the judges, he has the charms and the voice damn!"

I wanted to say something but my mind keeps on replaying his eyes that were staring on me yesterday.. well maybe I think it was me he was looking at..

"Guys mauna muna ako ahh may lakad pa kasi kami with my family" Mira said.

"Ako din pala, my mother wants me home early." Nika also said.

"Sige, you guys should get going, I'll stay here for a bit since wala pa si manong." I said.

"Okay, bye! see you guys!" We bid our goodbye's and when both of them are out of my sight, I pulled out my camera and started to think about concepts I'll snap for the submittion.

In the midst of thinking, my eyes spotted one specific person..

Zild..

I followed him every step of the way, until I saw a girl not far away, the girl eyed him with a smile and approached him for a hug. He then wrapped his arms around her, they hugged like they've met just now.. tch! so I assumed she's his girlfriend?

I eyed the girl head to toe, hmm maganda naman, makinis, matangos ang ilong, plumped lips at maganda ang hubog ng katawan... May taste din pala tong lalaki'ng 'to.

They walked out of my sight Zild's hand over the girl's shoulder, and there I suddenly have the urge to follow them. Bakit ko naman sila susundan? I shrugged my thoughts and continued with my camera

...

Steady.. steadyy.. CLICK!

"UGGHH!" The butterfly flew away! I almost got it!

Im in the park, and saw bunch of flowers and butterflies here so I thought why not shot some of nature's beauty right?

I scanned on previous pictures I shooted, and some are blurry because of the butterflies flying away!

I stood up once again. Just one butterfly and Im done. And lucky me, I saw one near!

I quickly positioned myself, almost holding my breath to not scare the butterfly away.

3.. 2.. 1..

Just as I was about to click it flew!

I followed it, desperate to shot just one perfect picture. I probably look stupid chasing some butterfly right now. But I didnt care anymore..

And because of how focused I am, I didnt know I bumped on someone, causing her drink to spill on her clothes. I eyed the butterfly slowly flying away..

well..   

there goes my shot..

I looked beside the person I bumped on.

"Sorr-" my tongue got tied when I realized who it was..

The girl Zild was with,

In short..

Zild's 'Girlfriend'..

"Im so sorry miss!" I said.

And I thought she would get angry on me or something but she just gaved me an apology-accepted look and said.

"Are you a photographer?" She blurted out.

"A-ahh hindi naman.." I said awkwardly.

She was about to say something but a man's voice stopped her to.

"What's going on?"

His baritone voice stunned me. Yes, Zild is here right beside us! And I cant help but get nervous, 'cause he might think Im hurting his girlfriend or something.

"Claud are you alright? What happened?"

Claud.. wala ba silang endearment? Gaya ng baby o babe ganon?

Here's not the time for that Clare! My other side of my mind shouted.

"Im okay Zi, I just bumped on this girl and spilled my drink." She said.

Zild looked at me, and for a moment I saw shock and amusement flash through his eyes but later on replaced by a no-emotion look.

"At sinuswerte nga naman, This girl happened to be a photographer" she added and smiled on me.

Kumunot yung noo ko, confused at what she said. Didnt she heard me right? Hindi naman ako photographer! Or Maybe she thought I was just being shy.

"I saw you focused on capturing pictures kanina, and your stance looked professional. And I decided to come to you but ruined your chase for the butterfly instead.."

"I might be too straight forward but.. kasi.. we're on a search for someone who could be my photographer for my predebut"

"And.. are you willing?"

I was stunned at what she said, wait? Huh? Am I hearing her right? This is the first time someone has asked me to be their photographer. All those professional photographers around the world but she decided to stumble across me..

"Aahh, ano kasi.. bakit ako?"

"Bakit hindi? Can we have your number?"

Wow, hindi pa nga ako nakapag-isip kung papayag ba ako eh! This is too big for me, and photography for me is just for fun not for business. But why not try diba? Wala namang ma wawala..

"O-okay" she handed me her phone, and I typed my number there..

From the corner of my eyes I saw Zild's piercing eyes looking straight at me, and that made me uneasy.

"We will contact you soon, miss.." she trailed off waiting for my response.

"Clare. Clare Maguire Aldyvier." I smiled genuinely..

Maybe this decision isnt too bad.. I will take this opportunity to widen my experience and hopefully it goes well..
