Chapter 5

Our performance is already done for today and we won the 1st place. I wasn't that happy because I never saw Jennie again after she walked out. It's 6:30 PM already and everyone's getting themselves ready for the after party at Junhoe's house.

"Bottoms up! Bottoms up!" Taeyang led the cheers for Jeongyeon to chug her beer.

High High by GD & T.O.P of Bigbang is playing in the stereo. Momo, Sana, Jinhwan and Donghyuk is dancing wildly to the beat. I'm banging my head to the rhythm cos it's too bop.

Music and booze the typical in-house party of a student. Seulgi and Irene is already making out beside me in this couch. I've been thinking a lot of things about Jennie. Since she and Tyler broke up I already stopped sleeping with random girls.

Nayeon pulled Jeongyeon for a passionate kiss after finishing her drink. The squad went screaming for the sudden interaction of the two. We all know that they don't have any label but whipped with each other.

Yeri handed me two bottles of beer and I gave the other one to Somi. She raked her hair with her fingers smoothly. She's got plump lips like mine, brown eyes, firm nose, a pale skin that looks smooth and her body is something to die for. Her foreign blood is obviously showing on her features.

"Find me hot Manoban?" she snapped her fingers and giggled.

"Nice booty you have in there" I smirked at her and grabbed her ass to pull her close.

"Too fast huh?" she grabbed me by my collar and was about to kiss me when Jennie flashed in my mind.

"Shit!" I cursed while staring shocked at Anda. Her brows furrowed at me asking what's the problem.

I left her then went to Seulgi and Irene's seat who's still making out but Irene is on top of Seulgi at the couch lying a bit.

I ignored them and went to Junhoe to let him know I'm going home.

"June I'm going just tell the others okay?"

"It's just 10:21 Liz.. What's with the rush?" Junhoe whined at me

"Nothing, I'm tired I'll go already bye" before he could protest I went away and got in my car.

I drove fast and accelerated from 60 till I reach 90 my tires screeched when I suddenly stopped.

"Fuck!" I scratched my nape while biting my lips in exasperation. I leaned my head at the steering wheel trying to compose myself. I've been a fool for letting myself around girls once again. I felt like I'm not being loyal to my Jennie. I breathed in and out to let my frustrations go.

I stayed for awhile before I started the engine and turn to the other direction where peace brings me.

My files are scattered around my study table waiting to be done. I've been here for awhile since I came home a bit late for dinner. Chaeng and I went out to buy her pet fish some food. Her pet's name is orange and can do even a trick. I stretched my hand and sighed I wish I could get some massage cos my body hurts a bit due to exhaustion.

Tyler went in here awhile ago to talk to me, but I refused and told my Mom not to let him in. It doesn't ache anymore like the first time I knew he was cheating on me. Was it because of me accepting the fact that we're done? Or there's something else that made my heart not to ache?

I took out my diary while flipping the page I saw a drawing of a person's eyes. I trailed my thumb at the eyelashes slowly admiring its glow on how it gleams every time it sees the world.

"I miss you.. when are you coming back to me?" a tear fell from my eyes, but I wiped it with the back of my hand like a child. I closed my diary and kept it in my drawer.

I shut the light of my study table and crawled to my bed.

Before I set my alarm I saw Chaeng's message saying "Goodnight Jendeukie : )" my lips formed into a smile then I texted her back saying "My pasta sleep tight :*".

I turned of my lights and closed my eyes to relax and drive myself to sleep.

"tug.."

"tug.."

I opened my eyes and sit for awhile to open my bedside lampshade.

"What's that?" I asked myself because I heard a thud like someone's knocking.

"tug.."

I didn't open my lights while getting the golf stick beside my cabinet. I slowly walked near my room's sliding door without making any noise before I peeped at the curtains to look outside our house.

A silhouette of a person standing beside a tree near our house. My heart beats abnormally cos thoughts kept coming to me like waves about the possibilities of whoever could it be. Does he want to rob our house? Does he wants to rape me? Or worse kill us?

I gulped to the last thing I thought no .. this person can't harm us. My mom and Dad is already sleeping I needed to do something.

"shit!" The shadow disappeared in my vision. Where did he go? I searched my eyes to scan our lawn but I can't see anyone. Minutes passed and I never saw the shadow again so I carefully opened my sliding door window to make sure he's not around anymore while still holding the golf stick tightly.

I wiped my sweat and breathed deeply to calm my nerves. I'll tell Mom to check the CCTV tomorrow I guess. I turned around to go back inside my room and sleep.

"AHMMMMMPPP!!!" a hand covered my mouth for me not to make a sound that can be heard from anyone.

"HMMMMFF HMMMMFF" I can't breathe properly anymore due to my panic attack. I felt his breath near my left ear so I tried to escape from his grip.
