Chapter 12

The entries weren't day to day whenever Lisa writes in her diary. Most of them are dated from special occasions and happenings in her life. Stolen pictures of me were there pasted in pages with detailed captions.

 There's a photo of me studying in the library with books all over me while I'm wearing specs looking busy, she captioned it with "Would you mind if I help you out with those Nini?". "My president is kind of strict when it comes to policies, too bad I want her to rule me instead" a photo where I'm speaking infront of the crowd standing on school's stage.

 I don't know how she managed to take those photos of me but she's kinda good in photography. I flipped the other page only to see a magnificent shot of me where I'm standing at the hallway near an old tree in our school while the leaves are falling beside me. It was a side view shot  while I'm looking up and she made it spectacular by adjusting the lenses to capture my flowing hair that goes along with the wind while my hands are in my pockets.

I bit my lips to suppress my happiness with all the contents I've read so far.

Entry #13: She may never know about my existence, but I'll be that one admirer from afar who'll always care for her. Today, is her birthday and I wanted to make her happy. Teddy Lee and Jennie were there in the park having a picnic. Junhoe saw me sitting in a bench while he's strolling Cindy her golden retriever dog. I have a red rose with me that time since I want to give it to her, but I don't know how. Since Cindy is a genius one and we're close. She's trained by Junhoe to do tricks and some stuffs. Junhoe asked me to hold his dog because he'll get something in his car. I'm glad he did that. I thought of something when I saw Teddy Lee stood up and left Jennie, I guess to get something also. I watched Cindy took the rose in her mouth holding it. I pointed at Jennie to where Cindy should give it. Cindy obeyed me and run towards Jennie. I saw how happy she is to see the dog because I know she's fond of dogs. Cindy put down the rose on her lap and licked her face. I guess she asked Cindy who gave her the rose since I saw her looking around and talking. I laughed while watching from afar that Jennie can't see me. She pat Cindy's head and hugged her ,then the dog ran away. She wanted to stand up and follow the dog, but she remembered she can't leave their things. I'm glad I made her happy on her birthday and that's more than enough for me.

I was shocked at that entry. She was the one who gave me that rose? I kept it in my own diary up until now. I smiled at how sweet my Manoban is. That rose wasn't the only thing she did but there's a ton of things. The chocolates in my locker every examination day, that says "Study hard, here's your reward" was from her also. I thought it was all from Teddy Lee since he always says it was from him argh! That bastard! I often receive a food delivery in the student council's office named to me whenever I posted something in my Instagram that I'm craving for that food. I guess that was all Teddy since he's my boyfriend.

I flipped again to see the other pages then one entry caught my attention and my heart went shattered into pieces.

Entry 21: I heard Jennie and Teddy Lee called it quits today. I still have a thing for her, but I met someone named Somi. She's quite pretty and nice. We've been seeing each other for a month, and I learned to like her. She may not be as amazing as Jennie, but I want to keep her. I'll take care of her since I know I'll never have this chance to see Jennie with me. Jennie will always be that girl who will have a place in my heart. Right now, my duties as Somi's girlfriend will start. I can't write in here the things about Somi because this Diary is only for Jennie. I'd still watch over my first love from afar, but I won't make my girl jealous of her. I am not sure if I can still write about Jennie after this but I'm glad you're there to listen to me. I love Jennie but she can't be mine.
