Today was the day. The day I would finally sign my 2nd record deal. I couldn't wait. I had been waiting for this forever, I couldn't stuff this up, I will not let my past with Jason repeat itself, this was the real deal this time, and I wasn't going to throw it all away, I couldn't, I need this, it's been my dream since I was young, I told joe what was happening, he was so proud of me, he's been doing well with his career aswell, he was promoted to the newspaper writer, writing all the big headlines for the paper, I couldn't believe that the whole world would see our work, we had both been busy focusing on our careers and this was just the beginning.
I made myself a coffee, brushed my teeth and then got into something presentable, I had to impress them on my first day, otherwise the might reject me, I did not want that to happen, my dreams would crushed if that happened, I would walk into the building and be myself, 12:00 hit and I left my house so I wouldn't be late, it was at 12:30 and I couldn't be late on my first day. I walk in, check in, go into the lift, and went up to the room, I walked up to the door that read: Room 206 ~ La Musique, please knock, I knocked and walked in, "Emily!" A woman says, "it's so nice to meet you" I say, "come sit" she says, "I'm so thankful for you inviting me here, you have no idea, I'm so overwhelmed, honestly" I say, "I am happy to be working with you" she says, "here's the contracts, you can sign them now" she says, "thank you" I say, I sign them and then give them back to her, "I can't wait to hear more amazing songs your gonna write", "why, thank you" I say, "it's a pleasure to be working with you Emily" "you too" We talked for some more time, then I left, I was excited, this was a huge deal for me and I couldn't believe that I was actually going to be signed again. When I got home my mum was standing at the door patiently. "So? How'd it go?" She says, "well........" I say, "aw no baby, someone else will sign you don't worry" she says, "you didn't let me finish" I say, "huh?" She asks, "I GOT THE DEAL" I say with excitement, "OMG OMG DONT DO THAT TO ME, AHH IM SO PROUD OF YOU" she squeals and pulls me into a huge hug, "thanks mum, I'm so excited" I say, "ughhh your gonna do them proud honey", she says, "thanks mum, love you" I say, and then I go up to my room,
