Miami, Florida.
Graduation day.

Aidah's pov

Today is truly a momentous occasion, and I can hardly believe that I've earned my master's degree in Interior Architecture. Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah! Words can't fully capture the depth of my happiness right now. I am incredibly grateful for this achievement and all the support that brought me here!

I had an absolutely wonderful time today! My Baba had mentioned he wouldn't be able to make it, but guess what? He surprised me by sitting in the front row! Seeing him there filled my heart with so much joy. It truly made the day even more special!

We're currently enjoying a delightful family lunch at 'Vero' Italian restaurant. I'm sitting next to Baba and Ya Ibrahim, and it's such a wonderful atmosphere! We're all seated together, savoring their mouthwatering dishes while chatting about a variety of topics. It feels great to share this special moment with my loved ones!

We returned home about an hour ago, and I was greeted by a stunning flower bouquet with a lovely note attached. The note is written in beautiful cursive handwriting, adding a special touch to the whole surprise. It truly brightened my day even more!

Not only are you an extremely beautiful woman but you are also remarkably intelligent. I am truly blessed by the heavens to have you in my life. Congratulations. I love you. Stay blessed. ❤️

-Sayyid Remawa.

I read the note twice, my cheeks flushing with happiness before I set it down on the table. "Why are you blushing?" Ya Mamma asked, curious. I just smiled and handed her the note. As she read it, her face lit up with a huge grin, and I couldn't help but feel even more joy at sharing this moment with her!

"I love your love. Mashallah, Aidah. May he always keep you happy," Ya Mamma said, wrapping me in a warm hug. I thanked her and then picked up the beautiful bouquet, making my way to my room. Once inside, I gently set the bouquet on my bedside table and grabbed my phone to call my fiancé. He answered on the fourth ring, and I could already feel my heart racing with excitement!

"Hey, Baby." His voice, smooth and captivating, filled my ears as he picked up the phone. Just hearing him say that made my heart flutter.

"Hi, handsome! How are you?" I replied, a smile spreading across my face as I spoke.

"I'm fine, Alhamdulillah. How was our big day?" he asked.

"It was amazing! The best feeling ever," I replied with a smile, even though he couldn't see it.

"I'm glad you had fun, baby"

I shared all the highlights of my day with him, and he did the same, filling me in on his own experiences. I still can't believe I'm getting married in just four months, Insha'Allah! The thought fills me with so much excitement and joy.

"Hey Sayyid, thank you for the flowers... I love you," I said, my heart swelling with gratitude.

"Oh babe, I love you more," he replied, his warmth making me smile even wider.

We chatted for a while before he had to excuse himself; his dad was calling him. After that, I caught up with a few of my friends, including Maryam. We ended up talking for almost two hours, and she shared some incredible news—Maryam is expecting! I can't even put into words how happy I am for her; it's such an exciting time in her life!

After finishing my conversation with Maryam, I took a refreshing shower and got dressed in some comfortable clothes. Then I headed over to our family house to meet Ammi. We're starting my wedding shopping this week, Insha'Allah! I arrived at the house in no time since it wasn't far from our apartment, and I was excited to begin this special journey together.
