-----------------------------------------

It was quiet, a peaceful quiet mind you.

Geno never thought he would honestly like it this much, considering the number of decades he's spent in that void, nothing but darkness and the ghostly quiet. It was like space, except in there it didn't have stars to light it up.

Here though, here it had stars in the dark quiet. Geno walked forward off the bed from his room to the window, he opened it letting the wind push away the transparent purple curtains from the sides of the window. Geno rested his elbows against the bottom wooden frame and looked out beyond him.

Mostly trees, plants, and a wide arrange of flowers came to view. Very softly, the wind blew against Geno and all the plant life there was, Geno quickly fixed his sweater before the cold could chill him to his bones and looked up to the night sky. Multiple stars where plastered onto the dark sky above Geno, shining brightly for all to see.

Geno sighed contently and just relaxed for a while, finding a bit of peace in this one place. Honestly, Geno would lose track of the time here and by the time he realized it, it would be already far late into the night.

Geno tore himself away from the window and slowly closed it, letting out a sigh. He looked around for a moment wondering how long he was out of it and walked out of the room.

Geno peaked around the small hallway inside the house and spoke softly, “Goth, Buddy are you still awake?” Geno asked softly in the empty area he was in, he didn't want to speak so loud just in case his small son was asleep and quietly walked down the hall to his room. Geno tried to be as quiet as possible and slowly opened the door, slightly gritting his teeth hearing a few unflattering squeaks come from the door.

Once he looked into the dark room, he didn't see Goth laying down on his bed. Geno sighed and closed the door, and walked away. He hoped the small one wasn't staying up reading as he usually would do. Though of course, Geno wasn't much to talk considering how much he stays up during the night.

Geno walked over a small area he knew Goth liked to read at but to his surprise he wasn't there. Geno hummed softly and raised an 'eyebrow’, thinking for a minute before going to search the rest of the house. It took him a minute before he finally reached the living room, trying to keep calm and freak himself out since he hasn't seen Goth anywhere and saw a bit of Reapers cloak hanging from the armrest on the sofa.

Geno blinked and sighed softly, walking over, “Reaper, I didn't hear you come in….?” Geno stopped hearing a light snore and looked over the sofa to Reaper.

Right under Reaper's arm laid Goth, curled up in Reapers cloak. Reaper stayed asleep and held a small book in his hands, making Geno give off a light chuckle at the sight of the situation. He walked around the sofa to face them and smiled softly, he watched them for a few more seconds before walking off quietly to a nearby door. From there he slowly pulled out a blanket and took it back to the two sleeping skeletons.

Carefully, Geno draped the light blue blanket over the two, being cautious so he wouldn't wake them up. Once he was done he gave a small smile before gently laying a kiss on Goth's head, then Reapers, only causing them to stir a bit in their sleep but not enough to wake them up.

Geno sighed contently and backed up a bit, in all honesty Geno never thought he would have ever have an opportunity to have a family or anything close to a home. Yet, here was his son and Husband sleeping peacefully together, and that's all he ever needed.
