"𝐑𝐔𝐍 that shit back," I spoke to my engineer as I rolled up my blunt with my tongue.
I don't usually smoke, but I felt the urge to today. It gets me paranoid, but I needed to get some things off of my mind.
My hands swayed along with the soft beat playing. I had to be careful with it.
I cleared my throat, leaving an echo effect.
"You'll see... it will all be over soon."
"I see black skies, and white lies, I'd rather be Dead, filling my head with different enemies." Thoughts consuming me, fueling my insecurities. As the ground right under me crumbles as if it wasn't there. It's too much, my heart's crushed, I'm not alive. I won't allow myself happiness 'cause it's all lies. Before I could go on, I felt a vibration through my pocket. I sucked my teeth as I pulled my phone out. Everyone knows not to bother me while I'm recording.

A small smile crept onto my face as I read the nickname she gave herself.
I asked my engineer to turn off the music so I could hear her better. I accepted and ran my hand through my dreads, pulling them.

"Jahseh.." she said in a sullen voice.
"Yeah? What's wrong?" I asked.
"I'm moving." She says.
I furrowed my eyebrows, "What? Why?"
"Somethings going on with my moms side of the family, and she wants to be there for them... so I don't think we should see each other anymore."
At this time, Stokeley walked in with drinks and right back out. I looked at his receding back and sighed.
"Who's that?!" She raised her voice.
"Geneva, relax. It's stokeley. But why can't we see each other anymore?"
