Gene swerved the chameleon around the corner of the Enchanted Forest.
"Jeez these fairies don't give up!" Alex said and looked out the back window at 7 fairies who where flying behind them, furious.
Gene stopped the chameleon behind a rock and turned on the cloaking devise and they blended out of sight. Twinkle sighed with relief and sat down in a chair, Ruby doing the same but angry at Twinkle for annoying the fairies. Again.
"I think it's time...we stop coming here." Gene piped up, turning to face the others. They stared at him as if they didn't know him.
"We can't!"
"They need us now and then, you know." Ruby said. Gene sighed, rolling his eyes and turning away again. He stared out at the landscape. Greens and pinks surrounding them.

Twinkle and Gene where squabbling about magic and science when the sun began to sink behind the trees. Alex yawned. Alien sat on his head, also yawning. Ruby has her ears covered so she didn't have to hear Gene and Twinkle for any longer, but it didn't work. She stood and pushed the two apart.
"Please be quiet! I'm really tired, you won't stop talking and the suns setting!" She pointed outside as the two followed her hand. The sun was now a deep orange and shone the colour over everything in its way. Twinkle froze and stared for a while as Gene groaned and opened the door and walked out.
"And where are you going?" Ruby asked him. He turned to her, hands behind his back neatly.
"I'm going for a walk to clear my head from Twinkle's annoying voice." Twinkle gasped.
"Well I hope you don't come back!" She faced away and fluttered to the other side of the chameleon. Gene scoffed and stormed away far into the forest. Alex watched on, not knowing what to do.
"Twinkle, don't say things like that. Gene didn't mean to say it." Alex tried to calm Twinkle but she didn't follow through.
"No! He started it, I just asked a question and he went all sciency on me like usual. I'm sick of it!" She day in the corner, her head resting on her hands. Ruby sat down close to her. She wanted to calm her but didn't want to be turned into a rabbit. The whole area grew silent as Gene walked deeper into the forest.

The stars where bright in the night sky. A cool breeze passed Gene. He was sitting on a log, playing around with his wrist piece. He was very tired, but didn't want to go back to chameleon. He'd rather be out here. Suddenly, a twig snapped from behind him. He spun around, trying to see who it was.
"Is anyone there? I am armed!" He stood in a readied position, his wrist piece giving off a little bit of light.

Something softly hit the side of his head and fell too the floor. Gene -rubbing his head- looked down to see a paper plane at his feet. He looked around. No one was there. He bent down and picked it up. Examining it closely, he saw writing on the inside, so he opened it.

Hello sir!
You look lonely. But also stressed, I would come over but I don't want to fully alarm you.
My name is Frank. If you'd like to see me, just call my name! I'll come out. We can talk! I'd like that, I'm quite lonely aha..

Gene read it. His eyebrows raised. He smiled. He folded it up and slipped it into his pocket carefully. Coughing quietly, he called out.
"Come out Frank."
Someone in a green suit came out from behind a tree. They had a dark green suit, their blazer unbuttoned showing a black shirt and white tie. Green trousers to match the blazer and deep red trainers, likes his own. Gene found himself staring and blinked. They walked to each other. This 'Frank' had a few freckles across their face, their hair black and shaved lightly at the sides and the top tied up. Dark brown eyes that were protected by circular golden rimmed glasses and pale skin.
"Good evening. I'm Frank!" It was a girl. She held her hand out to Gene who shook it.
"I'm Gene. Nice I meet you."
