Standing alone in a small room. Gene walked to a wall and pressed against it. Solid. He was trapped. The door that once stood behind him has vanished. Gene gulped and looked at his pad that was broken beyond repair.
"Oh no-" he looked up at the ceiling. There was a glass ceiling and he could see a figure standing there. A twisted smile slithered onto their face. Sharp teeth shining.

The glass ceiling began to crack. Tiny shards of glass already falling onto Gene. He covered his head and crouched as the whole ceiling came down. The figure standing perfectly still, unharmed, in front of him. Bright red eyes making the room glow a red. Suddenly the light in the room faded to black, leaving the red to illuminate the walls and Gene himself.
"Gene! Save me!" It was Frank's voice. But it felt far away. Distant. Gene stood quickly, glaring at the eyes.
"Gene? Are you alright?" Now it was Ruby and Alex. Twinkle next. Their voices echoing in Gene's mind.
"Stop! Go away!" Gene cried and covered his ears.

He collapsed. His knees slowly bleeding from cuts as the glass slipped into his legs. Kneeling in his own blood, he felt a hand rest on his back. He opened his eyes slightly and looked at who ever it was. He saw Twinkle.
"AAAAAAH!" Gene screamed and fell back as he saw what she turned in to.
All teeth and blood. Green eyes now that seemed to suck the life out of Gene.

"Gene- GENE WAKE UP!" Alex was shaking Gene who's eyes shot open. He sat up and shivered.
"Nightmare?" Gene nodded, rubbing his forehead. Alex sat next to him.
"Talking about it can help. That's what my father used to say anyway." Gene inhale slowly and caught himself. Calming down, he faced Alex.
"I was in a room, then the ceiling smashed and glass fell. There was a black figure with red glowing eyes. The room went black and the eyes were the only source of light. I heard Frank, you, Ruby and Twinkle calling. Then someone put their hand on my back and when I looked, it was Twinkle. Then she turned into a monster and then you woke me up...luckily that is..." Alex frowned, clearly concerned for his friend.
"Well, remember that it was just a nightmare, nothing like that will ever happen. Okay Gene?"
"Okay Alex. Okay."
