Frank sat back in her seat and stretched. She placed her paints and brushes down before looking at her painting. Gene was standing in a sky full of stars and planets. She lost herself whilst painting and put more into it than she expected to do. Her hands were stained with navy and purple paint. With a smile, Frank picked up the painting and walked out her room and down the stairs. Her parents sitting on the sofa talking when they noticed her come in.
"You off?" She nodded and unlocked the door.
"I'm going to find Gene!"

The dragons were just going at it. Wailing and howling at the 4, and Alien. Alex came to a halt, panting and put his sword away.
"There's loads! How do they have so much energy?" Twinkle flew next to him holding her wand to close to her chest. She looked deeply at one of the baby dragons and saw something drip from its claw. Honey.
"They've been eating honey!" Ruby looked and complained.
"Why don't we have honey, we'll get energy from that!"
"We just have to entertain them until they grow tired. Let's go into the forest and drive them away from the castle." Gene informed and began to run to the castle gates. The then followed closely and the dragons flew above them.

Gene continued to run further into the forest. He'd somehow lost the others on the way but Alien managed to keep up rather well. He stopped to catch his breathe and turned around. 1 baby dragon had followed him, it started to look a little tired. Gene -smirking like a madman- started to run again. He grabbed Alien and held him as he turned around sharp corners. He made one final turn when he hit something. He fell back and felt his hand heat up fast and burn. He screamed and blew his hand gently and looked up at a huge dragon who was growling angrily down at him. He crawled back to his feet, threw Alien over into his shoulder and sprinted off.
"A-Alex! Ruby? Twinkle!!"

Frank walked peacefully through the forest, the rustling of the trees keeping her in reality. Her mind was focused on one sound until another barged in.
"A-Alex! Ruby? Twinkle!!" Frank froze. It was Gene. She began to run, run onwards Gene's yells.
"Gene!"
Gene heard the call for him. He stopped behind a large rock and frantically looked around. The dragon seemed to have gone, but his burnt hand was agonisingly painful. Gritting his teeth, he opened his hand but instantly shut it again after realising how painful that was.
"Gene where are you?" He heard it again. He likes his head out from behind the rock and saw Frank. He walked out.
"Frank, over here." Frank looked around until she saw Gene. She charges over and checked to see if Gene was alright. She saw his hand.
"Your hand is burnt,"
"It's just a small burn..." Frank shook her head. "It's huge! What happened?" Gene sighed and explained to Frank everything after they parted. From the baby dragons and honey to the mama dragon. Frank's eyes were wider than ever as he finished the story.
"Well then...I guess we better sort your hand out and find your friends..."

Frank lead Gene to a large pond in the forest that shed found a few weeks ago. The two sat on the edge and had Gene dunk his hand under the water for 10 minutes.
"Is there any way you can contact your friends?" Frank asked Gene as he wiggled his fingers with a few little fish. He pulled his wrist piece close to his face and booped around until he managed to call the Chameleon voice call mechanism. It bleeped a few times before someone picked up.
"Gene! You ran off fast, w-where are you?" Ruby asked worried. The top of her pirate hat singed from fire from the dragon. Gene inhaled deeply before responding.
"I ran into the baby dragon's mother, she burnt my hand but Frank found me," Frank appeared next to him and smiled at Ruby. "We're sorting out my hand now. I'll send my coordinates to the chameleon and it'll pilot it's way to me." Ruby nodded.
"At least we can find you. We'll be on our way as soon as we get your coordinates!"

Gene hung up and dropped his arm to his side. He looked at what Frank was holding and felt his face heat up. The painting of him.
"Did you paint me?" Frank let out a squeak and coughed. She nodded and pulled it out so he could see fully.
"Yes, I hope you don't mind. Do you like it?" Gene held it with his steady hand and analysed it closely. He loved it.
"It's- it's great Frank!"
