the animal shelter (part 1)

ashley's POV

i went out to the balcony that was in Alicia's room and looked out at the view. there was a beach nearby and there were a lot of islands. ive always wanted to have a house on an island, ill have to ask Riker. i want another child so Alicia is not an only child. ive also always wanted to adopt a child. im bored, maybe we could go somewhere together, as a family.

i walked out into the living room and saw Riker teaching Alicia how to play guitar. thats so cute! "Riker, can i talk to you for a second?" i asked him. he nodded his head and i pulled him into our room (just so you know, there is a second floor, it just isnt decorated yet). "Riker, i want another kid, you know, so Alicia isnt an only child and ive also always wanted to adopt a child, so we can have 3 children, is that okay?" i asked him. "sure, whatever you want" he smiled and kissed me. "and since  were now a family, i figured we could you know, go to animal shelter and get a pet".

he nodded. "ive always wanted a dog!" he exclaimed. "ive always wanted a baby kitten in my room" Alicia said from the doorway. "Alicia Rose Lynch, were you eavesdropping?" he scolded. "yes, sorry daddy" she apologized and ran into my arms. "its okay Alicia, so are you okay with having 2 other siblings?" i asked. "yeah, ive always wanted a sibling!" she exclaimed. "good, then were all agreed, lets go to the animal shelter" i said.

we all went to the porch and Riker brought out this shoe box. "here Alicia, for you" he opened it up and it was a pair of black converse with a teddy bear that was a dog. "daddy, i love it so much!" she yelled and ran into his arms. "i love you sweetheart" he whispered. i got out my phone and took a picture. i put it on instagram with the caption: My sweetheart and my baby, so adorable!. i got alot of comments.

OMG RIKER!!! is that his daughter? so adorable!! alot of cute comments from the fans.Alicia went and put the teddy bear in her room and put on her converse. riker put on his glasses and we went into my silver car. "ill drive" Riker offered. Alicia sat in the back. he started the car and we went off. "look Alicia, horses!" i pointed out. "mommy, can i join horseback riding?" she asked. "sure, me and daddy will look into it" i answered.

when we got there Alicia hopped out of the car but Riker held my wrist. "Listen, Ashley..."

HAHAHA CLIFFHANGER! ILL UPDATE ANOTHER CHAPTER TODAY! I HAVE LOTS OF IDEAS AND I JUST WENT TO AN ANIMAL SHELTER AND SAW ALOT OF ADORABLE CATS AND DOGS SO I HAVE A WHOLE OTHER CHAPTER PLANNED. SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING I HAVE SCHOOL AND ALOT OF OTHER THINGS TO WRITE ABOUT AND SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST BOOK, I WILL BE WRITING A SEQUEL WHEN I FINISH THIS BOOK, THANKS FOR READING!
