Rikers POV

our first morning in the new house. a breeze is coming through the window and theres a distinct smell of french toast. and it smells good. i see that Alicia is already up and eating her french toast. i went over to Ashley and placed a kiss on her cheek. "good morning babe" i whispered. "good morning handsome" she giggled.

"did you make this? i asked. she nodded. "thank you" i smiled and took a plate. i went over to the table and sat down beside Alicia. "Alicia, you know school is starting soon, right?" i asked. she nodded. "im going into grade 3" she replied. "ok, me and mommy are gonna bring you out shopping for stuff for school" i said. she nodded again and finished off her french toast.

"thank you for breakfast mommy" Alicia hugged her. "awww" i sighed and took a picture. i posted it on instagram with the caption saying one of my adorable daughters and her mommy. finally Ariana came out with a hoodie on and short shorts."good morning sweetie" i got up and hugged her. but she pulled back. "s-sorry daddy, im just not used to this, im very sorry" she let a tear drop.

"no no sweetie, it fine" i pulled her back by her wrist. and knelt down by her and kissed her cheek. "mommy and daddy are gonna try to make you as comfortable in your new home as possible, meanwhile, why dont you come with us to get some new stuff for school then later we can go to a restaurant and get to know eachother better. sound like a good idea?" i asked.

she started crying. "you would actually buy me stuff?" she asked. "yes darling whatever you want, name it and its yours" i said calmly. "please dont hurt me like bad daddy" she whispered. "we would never hurt you cutie, your too special" i smiled. "thank you" she whispered and kissed me on the cheek.
