"W-What? become the Pirate King?! Do you have any idea what you're saying?" Zoro questioned in disbelief.
"The Pirate King is the Pirate King. What else could it mean?" Luffy answered, completely relaxed. "And Jiyuu will be my Queen!"
The attention was now shifted to me again so I smiled and waved a little, looking at the stunned faces of the Marines around us.
"I was surprised too, but Luffy-san is serious! That's the kind of person he is! And no matter what he does, Jiyuu will support him! They really intend to become The Pirate King and Queen and claim One Piece - the world's largest treasure!" Coby commented, looking up to Luffy in awe, while he laughed.
"Here - I've got your katana!" He said to Zoro, pushing three katanas under Zoro's nose. "Which one is it? I wasn't sure, so I grabbed all three."
"They're all mine. I'm a Santouryuu swordsman," Zoro answered, a small smirk pulling up at his mouth.
"You'll take them then?!" Luffy asked, not bother in the slightest by the peculiar style of swordsmanship. "If you fight alongside me, the Government will pursue you as a villain. Or would you rather be killed by the Marines?"
"You're the son of the devil," Zoro replied, smirking at Luffy, not even bothering to think over his decision. "Fine! If it's between that or death then I've got no choice, but to become a pirate!"
"Great! You'll be my nakama!" Luffy smiled, jumping up. I looked hard at Zoro one more time before allowing myself to spread into great joy, a grin spreading across my face. Zoro would truly be a great addition to what I'm sure will grow to be the most peculiar crew.
"Yosh! Man, this is great!" Screamed out Luffy as he started to dance around with Zoro's katanas.
"I agreed so untie me already !"
"Yosh!"
Seeing the Marines around us starting to stir; Luffy, Coby and I quickly got to work untying Zoro.
"Dammit! This knot is really tight!"
"Luffy if you only pull you'll get nowhere."
"But how else do you untie?!"
"Oi quit screwing around!"As we were starting to make small progress Captain Morgan demanded us to be executed again, saying that if Luffy cannot be shot then they need to slice him up and so every Marine dropped their guns, pulling out their swords and rushing at us.
"Luffy, hurry up!" I let out a squeak, untying Zoro at an even quicker pace.
"Th-that's weird. The knot is getting even tighter."
"Luffy!"
"Just hand me my katanas!"
Doing as he said I ran back to where Luffy dropped the katanas in his dance, putting all of them in one of his hands. Immediately he used one katana to cut through the ropes, he put the other one in his other hand and the third one in his mouth. He stepped in front of us with all three katanas blocking the Marines attack.
"So cool!" I shouted in delight, my eyes widening at his amazing technique.
"Move and you're dead," Zoro threatened as some of the Marines were about to fall back and I giggled at his deathly tone that was luckily not aimed at Luffy and I this time.
"He's too scary," some of the Marines cried as they forced themselves to stay still and I have to say if I were on the other side to his attacks I'd be scared as well.
"I'll be a pirate, you have my word," Zoro continued in a casual voice, not minding the Marines he was blocking, looking straight at Luffy and me. "By opposing the Marines, I've become a wanted man, but let me make one thing clear. I will always pursue my own ambition!"
