Viraaj and Luna kept drifting farther apart and Karan felt like he was loosing the only friends he had. Even though Luna and Viraaj had stopped fighting, this was not Karan's intention. Luna wasn't her old self anymore, she didn't do anything crazy anymore, she was now living a very simple and boring life. Karan couldn't take it anymore, everything around him seemed like a lost purpose. Even though it was Viraaj and Luna that had a fight, everything in Karan's life was going wrong.
“Oh the holy spirits from above, is this what d wheeling is supposed to be like? I thought it was all about annoying the hell out of the other two. Why is it not like that? Why am I not able to fix things? Why is there a war instead? How will what is lost be restored? ”
“Seriously? Is this what you came over to do? Really? Just go back to your house if you want to practice for the drama club.”
“Woah! That was an original dialogue. And I don't act in the drama club, I'm just a writer, why would I be practicing?”
“Fine, whatever. Just don't annoy me, I am already sick enough, I don't need you to make me puke.”
“I have come here to fulfill the responsibilities of a good best friend. I brought all my notes for the day to help you catch up with school.”
“Thanks, but next time, just ask somebody else to give me the books, you poor soul would be all tired of walking so much.”
“Somebody else......I get it! I know whom to send.” Karan said with an evil smirk.
“What's with that face? What are you thinking? Don't you dare send the annoying Anna."
“Annoying Anna is annoying even for Karan. Karan does not want to indulge in any kind of conversations with her. She will definitely not be the one that's coming. Don't worry.”
“Then, what is going on in that peanut head of yours?”
“Karan has to work on that. Get well soon. Got to go!”
“So you work now? I thought everything was done by Mrs. Paul for you.”
“She helps me out with everything at home alright, but I have enough sense to know that I can't burden her with everything in life. She has been more of a parent to me than my own parents have ever been.”
“Hey hey, don't blame your parents again. I don't know what they do but that money is what keeping you in a huge palace. Besides you'll be super rich when they die."
“I was just blaming them for not having spent time with me, you are straight up killing them. I don't really hate them you know?”
“I know, I know -they just don't spend any time with me- I have been hearing you say that for a very long time.”
“And yet you think I shouldn't be complaining?”
“Okay, you have all the rights to be complaining, but aren't they doing whatever they're doing for your sake?”
“I don't even know anymore. Maybe they have another better kid in some other mansion with whom they prefer living with.”
“Woah woah woah. Calm your mind man. That was just...too much!”
“You never know.”
“Okay, first, you need to stop fantasizing about such things. ”
“I am not fantasizing anything.”
“Yeah sure.”
“I'm serious."
“Of course you are."
“Why do you never take me seriously?”
“I am taking you seriously!”
“You never do, you'll not believe me even if I told you that I am diseased.”
“I will believe it, try me!"
“There's a hole in my heart.”
“There's a what?”
“A hole in my heart.”
“And you want me to believe that ?"
“Well, I'm not lying, so I don't see why you wouldn't believe that.”
“Oh yeah, what do you think about the fact that you're a horrible person who's trying to make a joke out of something so bloody serious.”
“Karan is not. Karan is serious."
“Sure you're serious. So serious, that you're joking about something like that. I'm not gonna fall for it this time. "
“Bu-”
“Bye! I'm going to sleep now! I will talk to you when you're actually serious about things.”
“But I-"
“Just go home now Karan, Mrs. Paul is probably worried.”
Karan let out a sigh, “Fine, I'll talk to you about this when you're actually willing to listen. Bye.”
Karan left Luna's room with great haste and just as he was making his way out of the house he bumped into her Mom.
“Karan? What happened to you? Why are you crying? Is something wrong? Did Luna torture you again? How could she be capable of doing that but is barely able to get out of the bed ?”
“Oh no aunty, Luna didn't do anything.”
“But you are cry-"
“No, no, I'm not crying, something was in my eye. I'll be leaving now. I have some homework to do.”
“Okay, but you were definitely cry-”
“Karan wasn't. Look at this charming face, how would Karan let tears effect this?”
“There's the Karan I know and love!”
“This Karan is not going anywhere, maybe, home, but that's all." His bright smile was back.
“That's it ! My boy is back!”
“You're the best Aunty. But I need to go now, I'll come back tomorrow maybe. Bye"
“Okay. Take care dear."
“Will do.” He walked away grinning his brightest smile.
Karan loved Luna's Mom, she was the best, their bond was such that it  would be totally normal if he was to call her mom. She was the most prominent mother figure in his life.
Aunty could always make him smile.
Spending time with her was always a delight;
She could light up his day; very bright,
She would protect him from everything that gave him fright.

( Guess who stole your rhyming monologues Karan.)
