CHAPTER 21- Guy Stuff

“Guy stuff.”
“Guy stuff? What is it with you people and guy stuff?”
“Well, we can't really tell you what it was. We'll have to leave it at that. Besides don't you always have excuses for hiding stuff by saying girl stuff?”
“That's different!”
“Nope. It's the same.”
“Okay, as you wish.”
“You gave in so easily?”
“No, I'm going to go to Viraaj's house and ask him about it. He'll spill the beans eventually.”
“No. Wait. Don't go to him. He might ruin everything.”
“Ruin everything?”
“Did Karan say that? Karan meant Run into everything. He's so clumsy. You know how clumsy Viraaj is. ”
“Seriously?”
“Yeah. He is very clumsy. You should know better. You're the one who is obsessed with him.”
“I'm not obsessed with him!”
“Karan is not the one standing in your house, begging you to tell what he wanted to talk about.”
“OKAY. FINE. KEEP YOUR SECRETS.”
“As you wish master.”
“Oh, so now you do what I ask you to do.”
“Have some patience my lady. You'll know soon.”
“Fine just give me the notes. I'm leaving.”
“About that... Karan actually left the notes at your place itself. Karan planned on coming back later to study. So....”
“You knew I didn't come for the notes from the beginning, huh?”
“Well...”
“Why did you just not say that directly? You idiot!” Karan had successfully made Luna furious again for the probably 10th time in one day, that's a new world record.

“I'm going back. Mom has asked me to call you for dinner. Just come home ASAP. I'll deal with you there.”

“What on earth can I give her as a gift? Should I even ask her out? Will she even accept it? Well, she does like me. She said that herself. She might? Wow, I definitely need help. I am talking to my own reflection in the mirror about a problem I'm stuck in. Why are things so complicated?”
Just as Viraaj was about to give up thinking for the day, his phone chimed.
“New message from Karan?”

You can ask Karan for help. Karan is always available for friends.

Viraaj breathed a sigh of relief. He had decided to visit Karan again. The very next day. He wanted to ensure he got the perfect gift for Luna.
This time he would be different from what he was in the past. He won't let his old self resurface and cause any troubles. He has grown past them. He didn't want history to repeat. That was probably why he was this hesitant. The past memories played in back of his head. He didn't want to change schools again.
Making friends is always troublesome. You can't really expect your friends to transfer with you. They are always left behind for new company. This time he had managed to get a new company that was good. He had already decided these would be the friends he would never leave. He'd always stay in touch with them no matter what. He had even held himself together to not let the previous problems resurface and this time he was sure they wouldn't.
What were the problems you ask?
Well... Let's just say... It was guy stuff.
(Hush hush, the secrets can't be revealed like that.)
