The Tridents Winners
This will be selected by a given percentage of entrants. Maybe 10 winners, 15, or 20, depending on how many entries we receive. The winners get promoted on our page throughout the season and they receive special badges for their works and profiles.
Judges' Favourites
The judges are people, too, and they surely have favourite books in their hearts. We're not limiting them here, as they'll tell us the books they enjoyed during the season and they cannot wait to read again.
Table Shakers
This category is for books who have come out of the closets to speak out about real life matters. Is it LGBTQ, black lives, terrorism, anything that makes us think and realise we need to see the world better, deserves this award. Whatever genre it is, it is a real table shaker!
Audience Love
Your readers shouldn't be locked up in your book. We would count their voices carefully, not by how much comments and votes on your work but by how it has impacted them. Do they swoon about your description? Is it your ability to make them laugh? Your characters, are they loving and relatable to your readers? We are not going to consider works with comments that aren't benefitting, like OMG, LOL, YOU'RE GOOD WITH YOUR WRITING. We search for the deeper comments. I FEEL LIKE YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT ME, YOUR DESCRIPTION GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS, YOU'VE GIVEN ME ANOTHER WAY TO THINK ABOUT LIFE.
