"Edward wake up" my brother Jasper shakes me to wake me up."Wake up!"Em's urgent voice wakes me up and instantly i am on alert as i see their concerened faces."What the hell happened?" i demand as i yank a t-shirt over my head.I had stayed over for the weekend at the mansion as Bella wanted to have her family over.When they say nothing i yell,"Goddamnit would someone tell me What the Fuck happened?"
"Mom.."as soon as i hear the first word i almost stumble but i compose myself even if my insides were screaming what happened to Esme?,"Mom,Alice,Rose and Renne were out shopping as usual when coming back their car was hit by a black Suv and a hitman walked out with a gun to kill them but fortunately our guards were not injured and were able to get both the driver and the hitman."Jasper replies calmly while all i see is red,dark red fills my vision."Is everyone alright? no one is injured right?"i ask frantically as i run downstairs to see the women in my life crying or in shock.Em and Jass both deny anyone getting hurt.
As soon as Esme sees me she rushes into my ams,"Shh,Esme you are alright" After everyone calms down they give me the run down of what happened.I go to the basement in a rage and throw open the door to see two men tied to a chair.The basement was an area where i kept people to tortue them or to bring out information from them.Both the men were bleeding but i didn't care and in one swift motion ripped the tape from the mouth of one and then the other.Their screams calmed me."Who the fuck sent you?"i get down to business without any preamble they both stutter and i pull out my gun and fire on the one ,to my right, in the middle of his head and i hear the the sound of blood and his brain matter coming out of his head.
Turning i point the gun to the one left,"Do not test my patience.Who the fuck sent you?" as i am just about to pull the trigger he says,"Bella Swan". My voice get caught in my throat and enraged i aim again,"You are lying bastard."He pleads with me to listen,"She found us and gave us the information.She have brown hairs,same colour eyes.A beautiful woman."I feel my heart stop.Bella can't do someting like this.She can't.I trust her.My body is sent to the maximum point and just before i can shoot him Jass stops me,"His last call was to her only."he waves his phone in front of me.Th call was of morning just before the accident happen.
My body feels like i am in shock,numb.I close my eyes and shoot the guy.But the hit doesn't calm me so i scream loud.Until my throat burns.My family could have been dead because of me.I trusted her.Its all my fault.She played me and tried to ruin me just like she promised me at the altar."I Never break my promise"Bella's words swirl around my mind.And with that one thought i tear out of the room.I can hear my family calling to me.Trying to calm me down but i don't listen i rush out and get into the car and drive to our apartment.My heart beating fast as every talk,every interaction,smile registers in my mind and in this moment all i feel is overpowering hate towards Bella.Unadultered hate,loathing and anger.
As soon as i get into the parking lot i leave my car there and rush into the elevator.Just as the door closes i see Em and Jass getting out of the car and running frantically towards me but the door closes and i punch in the code to the penthouse.The smell of food hits me as soon as i walk into the apartment.The dining table is overflowing with food as Bella and her family eats.Bella was laughing at Chris when she sees me.And all her laughter dies.I could feel the temperature drop in the room as they assess me.But i don't wait and grab Bella and turn her towards the wall.
"Why did you do it Swan?"i ask trying to control my emotions."Did what Edward?" her face tilted towards mine and if i didn't knew how great she was at acting and hiding her emotions i could have mistaken that she was confused."Why the hell did you do it?"i yell and slam my hand to the glass next to her,little shrads of mirror rain down on us,But we barely flinch even when i feel warm liquid oozing down my left hand."Back off Edward"I hear Gideon approach me and Chris by his side but they are stopped by my brothers who had entered into the apartment. "Why the hell did you try to get them killed Bella,why?" i yell but when she still tries to play innocent i whip out my gun and place the barrel rright between her eyes.Everyone falls silent as the sound of a trigger pulling is heard but it isn't from my gun but Bella's.Her gun's barrel pressing right at my heart.
"Back the fuck off,Cullen.Do not tempt me"i can see her brown eyes turning black with anger.It throws me off for a second and Bella takes advantage of that and pushes me back."Mom,Dad,Chris,Gid go into the room.Now!" she commands her eyes never once leaving mine.Alert to any movement that i may make.But they don't leave and i can hear her best friends struggling in my brothers' grip."You wanted to ruin me?Its fine.Why the hell did you go after my sisters and my mothers'" i stand back.Glaring at her.In this moment every tie that had tied us together snaps i could feel it,"What the hell?You think i planned the accident?They are our family..."but i cut her off,"My FAMILY,SWAN.Mine!" I can't believe i trusted you.I can't believe i was so fucking blind.You hate them and they were right from the start you are fucking heartlesss and a bitch."i spat out her nickname and she flinches barely. "Edward i didn't do it.." but i cut her off again,"All this time you had been playing me and i didn't see it.You should get a fucking oscar for your outstanding performance."i clap sarcastically.
I cut her off again and again until she snaps,"Did i ever asked you to find humanity in me Cullen?Did i ever said i have a heart?Yes i fucking hate the women in YOUR family but that doesn't mean that i would kill them.I don't like them and the feeling is mutual." But her reasoning falls to deaf ears as i stalk towards her,"You are a fucking coward Swan.COWARD! You are so fucking selfish that you would trade your family," i point towards the Williams,"In exchange for your life in a hearatbeat." As soon my words register in her mind she strucks her hand so hard on the glass coffee table so hard that it breaks.And immediately her blood starts to fall like mine. But she doesn't even flinch,"Enough Cullen!You think i did all of this then Fine i did it.There now happy?"she waits for my reaction and when i do nothing she laughs like a maniac,"If you fucking believed that i did it then you would have shot me as soon as you had entered the apartment.But you didn't.Because you knew that if i wanted them dead they would have already been dead."But i shake my head and clear her disillusion.
"The only reason why i didn't kill you is because of the rule 'Innocent until proven guilty' Swan" i say.It was a rule that even the mafia followed to show justice among us.But she just throws her head back and laughs then points her left hand's finger which is bloody at me,"Keep telling yourself that Edward Anthony Masen Cullen.And come back to me when you can trace the whole bloody thing back to me.Until then get out." Peter rushes towards her as the area near her had become bloody due to the blood coming out of her hand and mine but she stops him.
"Keep counting the number of your guards Bella Swan.You just fucking started a civil war with me."I point out as Em and Jass tries to drag me out of the room."Next time you enter the apartment Cullen.I will damn well make sure that your body leaves in a casket.And as for the war i say BRING IT ON"she says and then she slams the door at our face.
