I stood there in that room that morning staring wide eyed at the same brush of black tousled hair that I once have drank with before. His bubbly persona replaced with seriousness, concern lacing over his furrowed eyebrows.

I couldn't make myself talk. Not alone move a limb and just get away. Why did I have to eavesdrop and meddle with their business? I was caught red handed and I bet he's not letting me go without an interrogation. I suddenly feel tired. This day haven't fully started yet and here I am somewhat praying that I'd survive till the next morning.

"Alex." I feel his stare burrowing holes towards my own. "How long have you been standing there?"

"Hoseok..." I started, "I might have saw them fighting over something. I- I mean I didn't mean to listen to them. I just uh overheard voices and I went over to check and I swear! I was just there just about now."

My shaky voice was frantic as I let the words out. Hoseok's analyzing look scanning me over and I find myself staring back at him with his white jogging pants and a black hoodie complimenting his running shoes.

He let out a sigh and rested his arms inside the pockets of his jacket.

"Whatever your real reason is, didn't you honestly think that you could get us in trouble?"

Wait. What?

"Trouble?" I questioned. "Get us in trouble? I didn't hear a lot to get us in trouble. They won't find out, you just yanked me here. I don't think they know."

"You don't know what you're talking about and it's not as simple as you think," He replied with a low voice. "You don't know how serious this is."

I was dumbfounded by his retort. Frozen in that spot, I could open my mouth to reply but my muscles won't let me. I was just taken aback by his change in demeanor. He's not angry....he's just...... worried.

" Just...don't do that again." He looks away and frustratedly sighed. "We don't want this to happen again. Not on their watch."

Now, I'm just really confused. "Hoseok... Where is this conversation going? I mean, how cou-- why could I get us in trouble?"

He swallowed a lump in his throat, his adam's apple bobbing up and down. He gazed away as if thinking really hard what he'll safely say after.

"Shit," he cussed and ran a hand in his hair. "With Jungkook bringing you here, I guess you're already involved."

"Involved in what? Make me understand."

I don't know if I was just exaggerating, but I swear I saw a glint of nostalgia in his eyes. He seems to cover it up but I already saw it. Fear rested in his orbs.

"You could've heard something you shouldn't hear!" He walked towards me and held my shoulders a little too much, it hurts.

He seems to be disoriented and frustrated and I... looked twice as much as he is now. I just watched him contain his emotions eating him alive until he made up his mind and stared at me intently he might have burrowed a hole in my skull.

I held his grip on my shoulders. "Stop. You're hurting me."

He'd given me a wide eyed reaction then and quickly released his hands. "I'm sorry."

"Listen, I -- I don't know what you're talking about and I didn't intend to meddle with them- whatever their conversation is going into and whatever this is!" I sounded intrigued, "I want you- no, I need you to make me understand. Hoseok, what's going on? Are you guys hiding something from me?"
